It was the best of the three episodes this week, imo!! James was at his manipulative best (or worst, depending on the point if view, of course),

I liked JP's backbone for once, and I hope he doesn't give in easily. However, as I said earlier, I would have liked him to acknowledge that he made a mistake in going behind James' back like that.

It felt really strange how James went from very angry and vengeful to not even caring that JP "betrayed him".

Also enjoyed the Mercy/JP scenes.

And Chico had a very profitable day, James is a good client to have!

All in all, the writing is still a bit uneven, but enjoyable episode.

Also, we may just have witnessed the most romantic interaction ever..

(paraphrasing)
James: " JP, I've been looking for you everywhere"

JP:" I had to get my mother hemorroid cream".

Hahahahaha

Indeed... but they have created a new channel, and they are reuploading. The problem is that this new one will probably end like the two previous ones.

He should stick to the soaps. Apparently it was some ship called Leo and Gabriel this time, whoever they are.

Watched it again. I have a funny feeling JP knows that phone call was fake. It kind of reminds me of the time he asked to see James's phone and hd had nothing to show him. Anyone with any brains would find it odd for someone to have to prove an appointment. The appointment was also in 15 minutest time. No one gets an appointment that quickly. It was just JP'S easy attitude. Plus the text later. I think JP is calling his bluff and playing his own game. I hope so because JP is supposed to be intelligent. It would be great fun to watch two intelligent people playing games. So different from anything he could do with Ste.

JP wants to believe him, I assume he feels guilt as well as it was his fault

I think part of him wants to make James work for it as well. Up until now things have been on James' terms, JP is sick of that and ready to put his foot down!

Absolutely. James has always been in control JP now has the power because he now knows how much James wants him back. It is the holloween stuff next week so they will' finish this bit for them tomorrow. I would like JP to say something like' do you take me for a fool'.
He knows that James doesn't even want to discuss it with him who he cares about. Within a couple of hours he has decided to have therapy and made an appointment to discuss to a complete stranger something he has been hiding for decades. I think not. I really hope JP catches him out the next episode because in that last scene with 'Kevin' he still thinks he has the upper hand.

For now I think JP has been fooled, so I don't think he is playing a game with James. It would be fun, but JP is trusting and sometimes a bit naive.

Well, we'll see. Certainly James' lie should create drama, unless they ignore like they ignored the bet, or even JP's speaking to Nathan (which was suddenly not an issue anymore in yesterday's episode).

About Nathan. Even after James called him a professional victim JP went round to his flat. I can only think he was going to apologise for telling Nathan. James took it to another level by bringing home someone else out of spite. I posted before about how you handle arguments. JP is right about the emotional midfield. Every time they had an argument he could expect James to really overreact. I just have a feeling he has James's number this time. I hope so because they are off screen again and I would love JP to not be taken for a fool. He is supposed to be intelligent so I wish they would allow the character to use it.

I don't think JP is playing James, even if the scenario sounds good. John Paul in this stint has portrayed as the more submissive partner and is easily sweet talked round. That's not to say he isn't intelligent. He's a smart guy but it's clear what kind of box the writers want to put him in. I do think James did manage convince JP that he was seeing a therapist. That said, I'm pleased JP didn't make it easy for James yesterday and that James had to work a bit to get back into John Paul's good books. I'd like to think that in thier relationship it wouldn't take James to click his fingers for JP to come running. He needs to stand his ground. I also think James needs someone like JP to rein him in sometimes.

I enjoyed that it bothered James to not have JP in his life.l though. Even if he had to lie and deceive JP to do it, he cared enough to kill two birds with one stone. James was never going to seek professional help. He won't talk to anyone about it but he doesn't want to loose JP either. What ever emotional rollocoaster he is going through with his family at the minute, it's clear that he has bonded with John Paul and needs him in his life.

At least we know they're safe from all the Halloween mayhem, that's something I guess!

Both of them will have to pick up the pieces with Joanne and Mercedes so they should be back soon hopefully.

Just watched tonight's show. I can believe Nicole as a poisoner but as a physical threat? Absolutely not. Tom could have flattened her.

On Metro they mention Linda but I was hoping for info about the storyline. They did say she might be a regular. They sent her the river stunt and the abuse storyline to watch. BK said he hoped she didn't think it was shit. If she had watched some of this shows episodes she might have!

I can't wait for Linda to come on as James's grandmother.

but I am not looking forward to what I just read, Leela, Cameron and Tegan taking centre stage over Christmas. They're my least fav characters.

Linda must be appearing very soon; perhaps after this Halloween stuff. Perhaps she is visiting for Christmas. I was so disappointed to read about Tegan and Leela. This must be the end of Cameron.

I so want her to have a scene with JP, or find out about James' relationship with him.
