I'm sure I'll enjoy the scenes when I get to see them (if I get to see them... it's always more impossible to watch anything HO related these days. I miss the days when there were several channel uploading whole episodes at E4 pace in the same night they aired, and several channels dedicated to specific storylines also uploading at E4 pace. Now full episodes are posted only at C4 pace, and only very low-quality, in the little frame with cartoon voices. I usually get to see the new stuff only 24 hours later, at best. Sigh. Sorry, I'm frustrated, and impatient. Rant over ). I just wanted and expected better from this storyline. I'm very demanding of my shows.

Did they have decent screentime tonight, or the usual 3 minutes?

Justmcqueening has the episode up and it's 4:09.

Yeah, I managed to watch before going to sleep... God bless Justmcqueening.

Goldie is already insufferable after 2 minutes. And I can barely understand what she says!!!

JP was funny, I loved the way he dropped Goldie's stuff when he heard James' voice. And I love how we are seeing so many different sides to James these days, he's a far cry from the character he was when he joined the show. Jp is good for him.

What I liked was JP'S face. It is so good to see the actor enjoying himself. He seemed to have real fun in this episode. JP seems to be lightening him up. Unfortunately he still has to find out James is not seeing a therapist. I wonder how he finds out.

When he finds out, it won't matter, and nothing will come of it anyway, given the way they have been writing this storyline. JP will pout for 2 seconds, and then the next episode they will be ok.

Or just be covinently forgotten. Can't say thinking a big deal be made out of it..like Nathan being told that was quickly forgotten about..so frustrating at times

I'm hoping that they will go back to Nathan being told and remember about it, I mean the truth has got to come out eventually, so perhaps that will be part of it. Maybe Tabby will allude to something and it will spark something in Nathan.

That to but mean James very quickly got over John Paul telling Nathan. Know he was going sleep with the guy to get back at him for it bur still next episode not so much a big deal as thought would be.
Hopefully him going for counselling/not going be brought up but who knows. Even if does probably be forgotten next episode!!

Least he's realised joanne is slightly insane. Still bit of a shame they made her that way but hey

oh sorry, haha, I read you wrong! yes, he did seem to forgive JP very quickly, which is odd considering he's so private and determined to keep the secret, but then I think as far as he's concerned Nathan didn't believe JP, but still...

Yeah, JP betrayed James' trust, he (James) shouldn't have gotten over it that easily, to the point that in the following episode it was James who was apologizing to JP, and JP acting all mad....

Just like JP shouldn't have gotten over James dumping him and the bet thing without even discussing it with James. Totally unbelievable.

The writers keep creating these big issues between them, but then they drop them and don't follow up.

Awful, awful, awful writing. Way to kill a very promising storyline.

JP needs to remember how he felt when he had been attacked, I bet if he had told someone in trust what had happened and they'd blabbed he would have been angry too! How could he do that knowing what its like to be in James's position?

Which is why don't think James lying about getting cancelling be the issue it should be. No doubt be fine a episode later if addressed at all..Hopefully be wrong and start seeing some proper development but so far it's all so rushed/off screen

I think it all stems from BK saying the audience have an attention deficit so why give the actors any complex scenes. I really enjoyed the Emmerdale disaster week in that each episode gave each storyline time to breathe. I read that they will give the dementia storyline a special episode. You can tell in HO they don't believe the audience is prepared to use their brains so it is bang bang and move on. I really hope they give JP and James more involved scenes as the actors have proved they can do it.

They are still pushing Ste. He would know that his children should not be with an unstable person like him. Wasn't he diagnosed with brain injury?. The whole set up is daft.

Yeah, with the block storytelling the characters are required to act accordingly to the main plot going on, even if it contrasts with their own personal storyline which is on hold....

James was nice today, its a bit unsettling, Im waiting for him to do something cruel for the sake of it, just because he can

I got the distinct feeling JP doesn't want Sally to know they after an item. That was an odd scene with the excuse about emailing. Plus Sally saying he should be in school and his reaction just makes him.look like a schoolboy and not a teacher.

His family know that James has caused him no end of trouble since they met so he's probably cautious of telling them especially his parents who don't forget confronted James over his behaviour over the bet. He's probably waiting until he knows where its going before telling anyone. I'm not surprised though as JP has tended to barge in feet first so many times and get hurt and he's knows how they'd react to James that its probably good they don't know yet. He'll tell them when he knows its very serious and that James is here to stay. He may feel like that now but he's been burnt in the past and its probably just being cautious with regards his own feelings.

I didn't even know that James and JP were going to be in the episode yesterday, so I was pleasantly surprised.

James is super busy these days, how many cases is he following? 3500? haha That's good, it gives him the chance to take part to different storylines, and interact with different characters.

I'm curious about who he was talking with at the end, and what he is planning... nothing too good, I suppose!

It makes sense that JP is not telling his family about James, given how hot and cold they are...but given that they are hanging around together all the time everywhere, it's not going to be a secret for long.

One thing... can we have a kiss, please?? This storyline started almost 6 months ago, and they have kissed 3 times in total (on screen), the last time before the accident. Even Robron get more action, for God's sake...
