As I said, it depends upon whether he has a bankruptcy where he has to give all his available assets at time of bankruptcy and gets to keep anything afterwards, or whether he has agreements to pay back certain debts which couldn't be covered by the bankruptcy.
I also read that he's trying to get his ex wife to keep some money or something, some kind of fiddle to do with the sale of their house.
It all sounds a bit murky
Maybe HMRC asked CBB producers to get him on the show to entrap him

I couldn't stand Grant but I was fascinated at his attempts to woo Marnie and her playing him like a fishy . He was starting to get stroppy over her and lewis getting cosy and I wanted to see him trying to handle it . I've long suspected that he's the volatile type and I believe the Bear situation would trigger a temper tantrum had he stayed in .

I've seen the £12k figure in a Huffpost article too, but Tellymix reckoned that Heavy D was being paid the least. No one actually quotes what Colin is supposed to be getting though. (Or Katie for that matter.)

Tweedle dum and Tweedle dee on the Secrets and Lies series talked about the fee on several occassions. They were cock a hoop that they were going to get about 2K I think it was, having survived the whole series. So it seems to be about £20 per day.
