I don't either. In fact I know for a fact that the numbers bandied about in the C4 era were grossly over stated. I know because my best friend is a media lawyer and knows the person who did contracts for C4. He wouldn't be drawn on actual numbers but indicated that apart from a few high fee bookings the majority were getting betwen 10 - 30K with a few others at the 50ishK mark.

One of my locals is advertising Bear making an appearance there on 8 September. Well, looks like he won't be making that much as PA's don't pay that well!

They lived at home and worked in Tesco didn't they? Not the branch across the road where Sam worked - another one! A 2 grand lump sum was probably a lot to them. I bet it bought ever such a lot of pies, especially with a staff discount.

I have no idea what the others this year got paid .It has to be in proportion to how much they're wanted.
I do know that Frankie n US bb have half of it to the charity he supports actively in his own time!
Bear will want whatever he gets to himself .Can't see Lewis Heavy or Chloe getting much !
Not sure about Marnie as she's so pretty !
Grant Bovey and Sam are much more famous whether you accept that or not .Maybe its a generation thing !

I'm sorry but if any of that is near the truth, then what fools Ch5 are. 250k for Gemma Collins? 400k for Katie Hopkins? What a joke. the 12k for Bear seems more of how it should be.

Seems like you can blow your nose and be classed as a celeb to get into CBB. Ch5 really do go for the lowest form of so called 'celeb'.

But they are not fools though are they?

Katie Hopkins year was great.
Genma Collins year was also a really good one!

I think this year has been poor In comparison.

At last a common sense post!! Of course they arent paid anywhere near that figure. If Biggins can command that fee of BB then he could demand the same figure from another production company . In reality he cannot. I believe Bear would have been paid around 10k and i reckon thats what most of these "celebs" got.

A friend of mine was working during CBB15 and she knew that the celebs were paid just under £2m that year, and it looks like just Hopkins and Price made up for half of that.

I believe it, Price especially would have demanded that money, and they would have given it to her because they always wanted her on.

Also, someone I know manages the likes of Vogue Williams, Brian McFadden, and with Vogue, she was apparently offered 100k to do reality TV (not BB), so I do think these people are nuts to demand this money, but it probably does happen.

Id say compared to £100K for bovey (never heard of him btw) paying £12K for the BearShow the producers have pulled of the deal of the decade.
Kaching cashback Its a hit.

I don't think I believe this. It's just an attempt to paint him as the underdog and give some sort of 'paid a pittence - then won shocka!' narrative.
