During tonight episode when Ricky was talking to Bear outside a yellow blanket kept appearing and disappearing.

When you look at the widest shot of them both chatting there is one pink cushion that Bear is leaning on. On a closer up shot there is also just the pink cushion.

However when the shot is only on Ricky you can see Bears arm on the pink cushion but a yellow picnic blanket is also on the pink cushion.

It could just be the angle showing something else but as i said above the widest shot of the whole sofa and both of them doesnt show any other pink cushions or the yellow blanket.

So long as Heavy isn't still there they should get away with it.

Could it possibly be the camera zooming in and picking up the cushion and throw, which are on the other sofa positioned to the side of where Bear is sitting?

It's a common thing to cut different conversations and reaction shots together to shape the story. I haven't seen the bit you're talking about so can't give an actual answer.

The gold blanket is actually hanging over the back of the chair on the right. A tiny part of it is visible in the wide shot.

It looks like it's on the arm of the sofa he's sitting on, but it's hung over a cream coloured back cushion and wrapped around a different pink fusion.

The arm is the chair he's sitting on is brown rattan, not cream.

There is an illusion of distance.

also at one point Bear was crying, then he wasn't, then he was crying again, oh wait.....

Just watched it on the +1. The blanket appears and disappears as the camera angle switches from Ricki to Bear. It's only in shot from the camera on Bear, from his left side.

It might be a "depth" illusion as described above but it does disappear from the camera angle from Bear's left immediately before the end of the sequence. Odd.

Oh no! You mean a show that crams around 200 hours of footage per day into a one-hour show is edited? You don't say

It is explained above, so it is to not say in this instance.

It isnt about whether the show is edited or not as its obvious that it is. The problem is the possible continuity error of it looking like something is only there some of the time which implies their chat could have been re recorded and not done in one go.

Stitched clips together to make it one, which doesn't always work out. One year with C4 it was even worse. People appearing and disappearing from nowhere, quite a laugh, really, as if they thought they could hoodwink viewers

They sew wrong clips together to make a nonsense of a scene. An editor can come along drunk or tired from long hours, and merge clip 1 to clip 100 for instance, cause they think that would be funny, or they can't be bothered to correct it.

C4 used to do that quite a lot over their years,
