I would say it was 50/50. It takes two to tango after all

He's in the wrong for cheating because he was the one in a relationship.

She says she did not know, so fair enough. But even so, they both lacked a sensitivity chip.

Tbf to Chloe, bear said he didn't have a girlfriend, so how was she to know?

I agree unless Chloe didn't know Bear had a girlfriend. Judging by the surprised look on some of the housemates faces I wouldn't be surprised if Chloe didn't know. Hope she runs a mile from him now.

I can't stand either of them but, I'd say the blame is squarely in Bear's court. He gave Chloe the green light all the way, made out his relationship was nothing, etc. Yes, she sort of knew, perhaps he may or may not have been telling the truth, but she can only go on what he was saying to her ultimately, because she was attracted to him.

You could have a gorgeous, butt-naked Angelina Jolie served up for you on a table but, if you are in a serious relationship or married, a decent guy would walk away (painful as the temptation may be!) because he values his relationship. The 'other woman' is single. She's not doing anything wrong.

Yes, you could question her decency for going after a man who is already involved (I wouldn't go anywhere near them if this was the case, personally) but she is single, and if he is putting it out there that so is he, then he is the one who is fundamentally wrong. Women who are involved with men like this consistently blame the sisterhood to a greater degree rather than hold the man accountable, but the fact is, if his object of attraction doesn't put out, he'll go and find it elsewhere anyway, because that's who he is by nature. Ditto if it's a woman cheating on her boyfriend. Nobody deserves to be cheated on.

If Chloe knew he was attached, then they were both in the wrong. He was more in the wrong because he was hurting someone he was supposed to care about, while she was hurting a stranger. That is, if any of it was real at all, and not just a 'reality' TV set-up.

How is this in any way Chloe's fault? I hate this narrative. Bear was the one in a relationship so he takes all of the blame. I don't particularly like Chloe but its not her fault.

Well Bear of course. Unless Chloe had a boyfriend we don't know about. But assuming she isn't in a relationship she hasn't cheated anyone.

Bear, obviously, he's the one that did the cheating.

Bear pursued Chloe, so yeah, Bear.

No she isn't. She isn't his keeper and she isn't responsible for his actions. They are his and his alone. But I do agree with you I dn't buy any of that charade.

BIB - She said on several occasions that she didn't fancy him, and yet she went ahead and did it anyway.

Apart from that, I agree with much of your post.

Tbh Chloe owes a stranger (Lexie) virtually nothing, it's not like they were married either. Together 2 1/2 months.

Definitely. I do question the decency of men or women who go with somebody who is taken. But fundamentally, he did the cheating. Chloe now knows what she is getting into.

You're right, of course, that she isn't responsible for his actions, but she is responsible for her own, and (if any of it was real) she was consciously doing something she knew would hurt his girlfriend, so it was wrong, although he was more to blame than she was. But, yes, 'charade' is a good word for it.

LOL I assume you mean Ferris wheel not Faeries (variant spelling of fairies) wheel.

Neither of them are cheating, they are just trying to raise to fame through the media of BB.

Oh please.

So a woman sat at home is the one responsible when her partner publicly cheats on her? How is that? Is it because she has had previous sexual partners and not remained a virgin until married?

That would make her a bad person.

But it wouldn't make her responsible for the cheating. He's solely responsible for that. He could just say "No, I'm in a relationship.".

Chloe, obviously. It's always the woman.

I would say most of the blame goes to Chloe as she was the one who pursued him in the first place.
He was very vulnerable in the early stages not knowing who to trust and she kind of threw herself at him.

So... he's incapable of saying "I have a girlfriend." ?

Yes poor old Bear was seduced by the nasty Chloe who wooed him away from his partner. What utter b*llocks.
