That would make her a bad person.
But it wouldn't make her responsible for the cheating. He's solely responsible for that. He could just say "No, I'm in a relationship.". |

Yes, of course, but she could also have said 'No, you're in a relationship.'
If she knew he had a g/f it makes her a lousy person. But it doesn't make her responsible for the cheating. The cheating is all on him. Unless you think "I couldn't help myself" is a valid excuse. He wasn't forced in to it. |

I honestly started to find Bear... bearable. He'd cracked a few giggles from me - and then they threw in the ex and I've now lost complete respect for him.
I don't like Chloe, but I certainly don't blame her. I honestly think that in that moment, Bear knew that he'd lose a lot of voters which is why he cried in the bathroom - to act like he was sorry. We need to remember what he's admitted - he knows how to play the game! I think if he'd been caught on the outside, we would of seen a much more care free attitude, but because a lot of females are voting him, he knows he's got some making up to do. |

I can't stand either of them but, I'd say the blame is squarely in Bear's court. He gave Chloe the green light all the way, made out his relationship was nothing, etc. Yes, she sort of knew, perhaps he may or may not have been telling the truth, but she can only go on what he was saying to her ultimately, because she was attracted to him.
You could have a gorgeous, butt-naked Angelina Jolie served up for you on a table but, if you are in a serious relationship or married, a decent guy would walk away (painful as the temptation may be!) because he values his relationship. The 'other woman' is single. She's not doing anything wrong. Yes, you could question her decency for going after a man who is already involved (I wouldn't go anywhere near them if this was the case, personally) but she is single, and if he is putting it out there that so is he, then he is the one who is fundamentally wrong. Women who are involved with men like this consistently blame the sisterhood to a greater degree rather than hold the man accountable, but the fact is, if his object of attraction doesn't put out, he'll go and find it elsewhere anyway, because that's who he is by nature. Ditto if it's a woman cheating on her boyfriend. Nobody deserves to be cheated on. and i agree its a bad thing to cheat and can't condone it but i will say going into bb and having a girlfriend of just 8 weeks im not that surprised or shocked he strayed |

oh please!, Lillie his ex!!!! is no angel ..shes like the local faeries wheel, everyone has had a ride
Lillie just wanted her 5 minutes of fame and they were not together very long The CBB producers obviously wanted to crush bear and his chances of winning, everyone else got nothing but good visitors? ...yeah right! ..obvious much! lol Thank goodness there is always a female around to blame when men cheat and someone like Bear can be made a victim and rehabilitated for the BB audience. Just in case his popularity was dipping

I agree it's 50/50. She knew he had a girlfriend, so it's just as much on her as it is on him.
They're both pretty vile. |

I agree with most of the post here. It's Bear's fault and even if Chloe knew he was seeing someone it's still mostly Bear's fault as he's the one in the relationship, the amount of time they were together doesn't excuse that either.

If you honestly think Chloe is to blame in any way shape or form you are sexist, plain and simple.
IF she knew Bear was in a relationship then you could use the "takes two to tango" defence but that is not what happened. Plus it was Chloe who was being pestered into a showmance by Bear and not the other way round, the whole thing was his idea which she eventually went along with. He wasn't seduced into cheating, he actively sought it out! |

The question was 'cheating' - only one person was cheating, that's Bear. Who was Chloe cheating on?

Chloe did not 'romance' him.....she shoved her tits out, and smiled sweetly when she got a response, from the only one that responded.....and he only responded because she was the only option....

But he couldn't cheat without her cooperation. So she's complicit in the action.

Did we even know that Bear had a girlfriend when he went with Chloe? I certainly didn't and as I remember zilch backlash on here I'm assuming no one else did either. So how do we know that Chloe knew
It seems to me, and this is from Bear's mouth, that he wanted to end his relationship his girlfriend and realised that getting with someone in the House would facilitate that and then along came Chloe. It's completely obnoxious and highly unfair to blame anyone but Bear for all his relationship issues. He is playing his heart out to win this show and having a showmance was part of that and Chloe is just a pawn in all of that like everyone else. |

However: Quote:
He was clearly in the wrong, no question about it. However, Chloe is an adult and is responsible for her own actions. If she knowingly coupled up with a man who was not single, then she is also in the wrong, although less culpable than Bear, since the person they were both hurting was someone he was supposed to care about. It's a moot point, though, since there's a fair old chance that the whole thing was contrived, nay, pre-arranged.

To be fair you have to take a bit of responsibility yourself when you are known for dating reality stars who are known for putting it about.

Bears fault.
He was attached, she wasn't. |
