Thr scene last night with Lachlan just seemed to be massive foreshadowing. Him saying "you'll never leave me" just seems like the kiss of death in a soap. I can see Lucky becoming suicidal,so this might be the thing to push him over the edge(and obviously finding out Donny isdead )

I did hear rumours of a dog leaving. I assumed it was Cheryl as the actress is apparently pregnant.

Was the dog we saw last night the same dog that we saw before? I kind of remember it as being black and white.

This will be a test of Robert's recent face turn. Killing a dog is a lot forgive. Laurel will never be forgiven for killing Daisy.

Especially when it would have been far easier to kill Marlon.

Sadie's dog, Damon, Tootsie and Titch's pup, Titch himself?, Aaron's dog, Batley, admittedly the dog actually died but could have been replaced, they did it before. Where is Tootsie? Where is Cheryl?

Who was Titch?

Tootsie is currently tied up outside the Spar in Roblesfield where Ashley left her two days ago. Cheryl has been so disgusted by David's constantly present sick bucket that she has run away and is living in a corner of the Dingle's barn where her secret paramour Alfie is looking after her.

Dog's great. I loved when Lachlan was walking him the other day and he was playing with his lead. He looked so happy

This is basically the final step of Robert's redemption so I can't see the writers having him directly killing it. It may be indirectly his fault, but I think it will be just a random occurrence, a hit and run most likely

I too fear for Dog - that was actually a really nice scene with him with Lachlan - but I worry that if may foreshadow bad things for him

I heard Tootsie booked herself into The Priory. Apparently she hit the booze when Edna died.

so he was only bad for about a year and a half? Lightweight. Why can't they commit to having these characters do terrible things without 'redeeming' them within a year? They could still show a good side, without having the 'Road to Damascus' moment so soon. Do they think we have no attention span?

Titch was a Dingle dog who did rudies with Tootsie and either Betty or Pearl (don't remember which) got her pup. I think Pearl because Bolan had gone.
Titch was supposed to be Delilah's. He was abandoned at Paddy's as a pup and she took him but got left behind when she went. Terrier (mostly).

Robron is the most popular thing about the show atm. They need Robert to have longevity so they can't have him be evil anymore he's much better as a villain though

20 years is a bit late for Robert's redemption. Still, he has experience of hit and run, at least twice that I can think of, both resulting in death.

Why is Lachlan acting like such a wuss over his dad anyway, my dad was barely interested when I was growing up and I barely spoke to him In Fifteen years when you have a loser for a dad even at that age you learn to deal with it pretty quickly

I had just the same feeling. Poor Dog (the joint best named pet in soap history, on a par with Cat from Neighbours).

I suspect Dog will show too much affection to someone else (maybe have a fling with Cheryl the Labrador), Lachlan will have another freak out at being ignored by a loved one, and Andy will get the blame.

I'd bet a lot of money things won't end well for Dog. The ED PTB are lots of things.........subtle ain't one of them.

Well everyone reacts differently...some people can handle it while others, mentally, are massively effected by being abandoned by their parents.
You also need to understand Lachlan's situation: he's always been a lonely, awkward and friendless kid. Now he has to deal with the added pressure and guilt of covering up the shooting and letting an innocent man go down for it while facing his grieving family on a day to day basis not to mention the fact he is sleep deprived.
Also he's more alone than ever. Lawrence and Chrissie are far from perfect guardians or role models but they've always loved and supported him., but things are obviously still a bit frosty with Lawrence and Chrissie has become so cold that she's not giving him the emotional support he needs. Can you blame him for missing his dad and craving some love and support?

I agree. It's telling that he never turned to his Dad before all this happened, apart from the brief time the Dad was in the show. I think Lawrence took over as a father figure but now Lawrence is doing this terrible thing. No wonder the kid's s confused as well as guilty. It's s not like he can turn to his Mum or a friend or sibling. Dog' s probably the only one he can confide in.
