So I saw Frankie got absolutely butt naked tonight..where is all the intense venom and vile insults that Chloe received just for being topless??

Where is all the numerous threads calling him disgusting and trashy and desperate?? Chloe got called all the names under the sun, she was a slu*, a who*e with a mutilated face, a skank, sickening, a trashbag ,who resembled a burst hemorrhoid all for being topless in the show.

.Frankie has now proceeded to get naked, oh yes I now recall Lewis did also.

And not a single word... it truly amazes me how openly sexist some folk on this forum are. So basically men can do what they want and never get insulted in any way shape or form when it comes to nudity but if a woman dares expect equality she is slut shamed and treated like dirt.

There is something very wrong with these Victorian attitudes that are held most of the time by frumpy forgettable fools. Pitiful really.

Maybe all the outraged viewers will be along later to blast Frankie and de humanise him the way they attempted to with Chloe akin to a bunch of hatchet faced prudes..but somehow I doubt it.

That's the way it rolls on here.

I'm mad at my own ass that I can't stay away from here during BB season.

You'd get called homophobic if you criticized Frankie. People don't want those PC problems.

Frankie did it for jokes. Chloe was doing it to sexualise herself because in her mind it's the only thing she can offer.

It's usually women that take the most offense with female nudity, so you'd be calling women sexist towards other women. In addition, women in the audience usually boo attractive women as they walk out, and women are the highest demographic who vote, and usually evict women first. So... Yeah; it's not necessarily a jealousy thing, but it could be an insecurity thing.

Women hating other women should hardly be a revelation.

But it's OK to have a male stripper to letch over but a female would be sexist and degrading.

It's no revelation sadly, but it's always saddening to see.

The only time I've got angry with FMs this series (or any series and on any section of the forum) is when people - especially women though - use such words as slut or slag, whore, etc. and go on about how 'nasty' she was. I've had a go at a few people over it - I'm not the forum police, but it's just something I sometimes feel I can't ignore.

They don't realise how hypocritical they are sitting there saying these things, sounding just as nasty as they think Chloe (or whoever they are aiming their bile at) is.

Criticise her actions - housemates' actions, yes; calling her names - no. It's base and classless and, in my opinion. This whole 'slut shaming' (as people seem to call it) "thing" these days is disheartening to say the least, especially from women.

I may not want to see Chloe behaving as she did, but mostly because I felt quite sad at the desperation of it more than anything, I felt she didn't respect herself enough when, beyond her look, her image, she seemed quite a nice - although misguided - young woman. She seemed somewhat lost to me.

I think she's a product of this age of zelebdom we're unfortunate to be living in.

Well it was BB that put the stripper in there, the female housemates didn't purchase him with the food budget!

Chloe didn't just strip.........she did more than that with her body whilst fully clothed, and flaunted her body, and pretended to give her body ....... to anybody.

Frankie sexualises himself all the time around men. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen him on his back with his feet pointing to the ceiling. Look at the way he was with the stripper today.

Flaunted her body Sorry, that sounds so 1930's

It's her body to do with as she wishes, as long as she consents.

So what? Her self-worth isn't defined by the number of people who see her naked body, never mind the number of people she has sex with.

Great OP. The sexism and misogyny on this forum does my head in. Women in particular are great at bringing down other women in order to try and either make themselves feel superior or to ingratiate themselves...often, with men. It's lame.

Nobody said that? Men can get naked on TV if they want to; women can get naked on TV if they want to. Men and women can keep their clothes on on TV if they want to, too. Nobody said anybody should get naked.

Unfortunately people look at men and women getting naked very differently, when there isn't a difference is there (beyond the fact that men and women have different bodies, obviously!)?

I haven't seen much uproar about Lewis flaunting his bollocks around - several times. Personally I didn't fancy seeing them whilst eating my dinner , but I wasn't outraged.

The reasons why people do things are always what interests me, that used to be why we watched Big Brother in the first place.

Men and Women are different, that is all I am saying......and trying to 'pretend' they are the same is misguided.

In what way are they different? Different in a way that means they should be held to equally different standards of behaviour?

It's an age-old dichotomy in the way society(ies) perceive women, between ''woman as madonna'' (High ''morals'', wife material, good mother etc etc) and ''woman as whore'' (sexual, desireable but not taken seriously)

As a young feminist in the 70s, I was part of the fight against these stereotypes, but it seems as though things are even worse now than they were then.

Some women seem to be envious of ''attractive women'' which is a shame, because if we all had our own sense of self-worth, this shouldn't be the case imo ...But the pressures put on both young men and women to look ''a certain way'' in the media etc is worse than it's been since the Victorians forced themselves into ridiculously confining corsets!

I hate to see the lengths some go to, to disfigure themselves with plastic surgery to conform to an ideal purely based on ''sexual'' attractiveness.

As for sexuality women like sex as much as men, but there should be a healthier respect for sex, and our bodies. (Edit: both women, and men, )

I'll shut up now, 'cause I'm rambling, and I've forgotten what I was trying to say,......:cool

Edit: this hasn't really explained what I'm trying to say very well, but I don't think women should be called 'slags' simply for enjoying sex in the same way men do.
