Android historical mobile data usage detailed stats
Not sure if that's non-cryptic enough of a thread title...
Someone was grumbling to me yesterday about mobile data charges and timing* and it seemed an interesting question if you like that sort of thing ![]() We're trying to get a reasonably accurate time-frame of when mobile data stopped working on a phone (plus/minus realising it's not a non-stop dripping). From the Data Usage thingy the information is clearly available at a reasonable level of granularity but it is smaller than my thumbs can manage and doesn't state the time, only the date. Unfortunately none of the data monitor/stats apps that I can see will look at the historical data already on the device, regardless of what I do with the 'plan' or 'cycle' settings. So... is there an app that will look at the Data Usage info that has already been gathered by the system or is this in some precious reserved area unavailable to the plebs? I got the impression that rooting is very undesired. * When does 24 hours start? Now, or the nearest hour just gone, midnight to midnight and is that local time or GMT? One would hope 'now' but that might depend on a card payment being cleared (etc). |
