I doubt we will see concrete changes until Autumn.

She does seem to be giving Maria a lot more to do, which for me is not a good thing.

Never really rated the actress and why oh why is that Caz character still there.

She really is a dreadful actress

I think it will take Kate until at least next year to really sort out the damage she has been left with. Poor cow.

Yeah I agree. It's no secret I didn't think much of her final year at Emmerdale but initially I thought she was fantastic

I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt for at least a year

It's normal for producers to give their best work within their first year/year and a half, so I expect there will be an improvement in the short term, assuming Kate Oates isn't a total disaster. Not being an Emmerdale viewer, I don't know what to expect from her.

Not that Corrie really needs a saviour.

Don't hold your breath. She's the first Emmerdale producer that made me almost stop watching.
Expect a baby boom, explosions and the exit of long term characters.
However, given that she used to write for Corrie sometimes there's a chance that she may have a clue about the programme.

That made me laugh out loud 😂

I have high hopes for October onwards and think we'll get a good Christmas. By next BGT week we should have some really good material I think.

If not she was a storyliner, but I think she did.
She was also asst. prod.

Kate oates was a assistant Producer on Corrie but only lasted a couple of months as she got the offer to become Emmerdale producer

Expect a baby boom
That's me finished with the show then. Nothing ruins characters and storylines more than pointless offspring.
