Money, and to reach a new british audience. And the ones that know them, it's a case of strengthening that bond. Improves their social media count (ad money)...etc....
Also i heard that it did somewhat boost Tiffany "new york" Pollard reputation back in America mostly based on the reaction on social media to the ongoings in CBB.
but dont forget they also appear in mtv/viacom shows (or are reality to people who are in them) and those shows may get better viewing in the uk... even picked up to show by rivals who buy viacom programming...
so exposure & possible sell through of future shows into this market, making them more valuable to tv makers looking for potential export sales of the show...
many of them are on the "celeb does tv show" circuit so it is just a "stop on the tour" & one that enables a paid busmans holiday between such gigs in amercia or other countries...
It's probably very liberating to do a tv show in another country. You get the fun experience and get paid without having to deal with too much public scrutiny in your own country.

Yeah, and if something comes out of it in the UK, even better. Win win.
Pretty easy money isn't it? I appreciate being in the house itself is mentally taxing but as a job its as easy as it gets. Full board and lodging, 4 weeks max, do a few tasks, pick up cheque for 30K. Then perhaps a few paid appearances and interviews, a few days in London and head home. Why wouldn't you?
The fee. An all expenses trip to the UK (and probably for at least one of their last loved ones)" a foot on the door to a UK audience, especially those who rely on blogs. Other spreads in UK celeb magazines that they wouldn't have got before they were known here. Advertising.
