James Jordan was a far bigger bully than Bear ever was, yet he didn't get 5% of the abuse that Bear gets on here.

Bear is playing a game, Jordan was just nasty by nature. Bear has a go at anybody (particularly fence sitters), James Jordan only picked on vulnerable Gary Busey. Bear's antics are tongue-in-cheek, James Jordan's were mean spirited.

I wish people could see, and acknowledge, the difference.

I agree but Bear has gone over top and kept on doing it, he's driven me mad with his antics and would not have felt so much angry at the way he behaved if he had show more sides to him, he has come out like a over active child that does not have a stop button and in the end the same behaviour even when he's not playing a game it goes not noticed as he's already got on their nerves so much that the brain feels aggravated that it fails to sense a slight change in personality.

Plenty of past housemates have been far worse.

Time makes people forget.

I think Bear is a bit Jedwardish - with a bit more ruthlessness.

I agree with you. I have never forgotten how vile he was towards an elderly deaf man.

Gary Busey actually suffered a brain injury many years ago.

It stands to reason that he would be vulnerable.

I don't mind people acting the way they do and that includes Bear, it's when it becomes relentless and drives other HMs to tears and the point of breaking, that's when I don't enjoy watching it. They should not focus on one or two HMs, this show most definitely needs 24hr live feed, otherwise it just remains a joke

I thought James and that benefit cheat, Dee (whatever her name) were far more vicious than Bear. If you want to know what goading and cruelty to fellow hms is like, then watch those two in action. Absolutely vile.

The difference being that it wasn't "The James Jordan show" that year. We got to see more of the other housemates thankfully.

Yeah because they had other decent charcaters like Leslie, Gary and Frenchie. Bear was the only insane one amongst "nice" people.

I had to laugh at James on BOTS the other day slagging off Bear for being a monster when he was JUST AS BAD as Bear !

I think Bear is much worse than James Jordan, and yet he doesn't get anywhere near the amount of vitriol and hatred that James got on BOTS, where all they needed was a disclaimer on the bottom of the screen that said, "this is the We Hate James Show".

Gary Busey actually suffered a brain injury many years ago.

It stands to reason that he would be vulnerable.
I believe that Gary Busey was more switched on than people believe.
