Interesting interaction between the others.

We don't need screaming and shouting for entertainment - why cant the producers realise this!?!

I agree. I'd love bear to go tonight and see the rest of the house.

Totally. There's enough mileage in Sam's delusions about her fame and career and Lewis and his David brentisms to salvage this series.

That was by far the best episode of series yet. The only one I've enjoyed anyway.

But I don't want Bear to go just yet. I don't hate him - I quite like him in smaller doses like this.

Mind you that's easy for me to say because I stopped watching for a couple of weeks - because the Bear edit bored me - so I didn't see the worst of him. I mean, people are saying he's a bully which I haven't seen. The worst I saw was him being an overbearing pain in the arse.

I definitely want Lewis to go though. The other HMs are definitely not boring - was great to see them tonight.

It's nothing to do with Bear piping down, It's down to BB starting to show others in the house.

The house highlights tonight were the best of the series for me. Spread out a lot more evenly across the HM's

But the question is is it better?

My honest answer is that I'm not sure that it is. Because it's entirely dependent on the quality of the other housemates. It pains me to say that I don't think that the other housemates are very strong.

That doesn't mean that Bear is good, it's just that the other housemates aren't up to the general standard of quality housemates of the past. There needs to be a counterweight to Bear. But I don't think that we really have that.

Well that's it. That's all I wanted - a bit of balance. I don't blame Bear for it though, it's the editing of the show that made it unwatchable for me.

Although, willywonker, I do think he has piped down and its made a difference. If he were acting up again I think they'd going back to showing just that and little else.

I just worry that the boos and the feeling 'got at' with that task will set him off again - I think he's a bit of defensively defiant and insecure wee man under all the bravado.

I have said all along he is insecure. The need to wear a mask, paint his face. He thinks it makes him stand out.

I think it's too little, too late. We should have been seeing this for the last few weeks. Getting to know the HMs gradually and finding out what makes them tick.
Instead we've had 2-3 weeks of watching an overgrown child then they've changed tack overnight and it doesn't work

The only reason Bear has piped down is because he has no mates .

He is now forced to interact with the others

It was really apparent tonight with the crowd noise. Unless I've got it wrong, but i thought and he looked sullen and on edge with the boos but just there now before Lewis and James' names were called he heard cheers I think he thought were for him and he sprang to life and shouted 'yes' but was a bit flustered looking when it turned to boos and they weren't cheers for him at all.

He may be saved but I don't think he's going to be a happy bunny tonight somehow.
