Think I might be finally done.
Sad that James has gone as think if the focus hadn't been solely on other HMs you might have seen a lot more of what made his show unmissable. Glad Lewis has gone as other than his showmance not really sure what else he contributed. But with Bear hanging on I really do finally think I've had my fill of him. Not sure, along with many others, I can bring myself to watch the rest.

Why do forum members have to announce that they might stop watching?

Wow, people are so nice here....
I'm sad to see James go over Bear too & I definitely agree that we would have seen more of not just James but EVERYONE without Bear's crap behaviour & Lewis/Marnie's dreadful scriptwriting. |

Maybe you shouldn't be asking why they announce they have stopped watching but instead asking WHY they have stopped watching.
I have watched BB and CBB right from the start and this is the first time I've given up on a series due to the antics of housemates I have no idea who they are or even would watch the show that they are 'famous' for. |

If this is the future of BB/CBB then I very much doubt it.

Bear sends his commiserations. He will send a goodbye card once he leaves the house as winner.

It can't always go the way one wants though.
I'm glad lewis has FINALLY gone so that's kept me happy. James I liked but we had seen everything from him. Bear let's face it as unlikeable as he is, he has been the series, he has probably inadvertently brought housemates out of their shell who may have been more invisible than they already are !! Yes he may have got a little too much airtime, but this idea that if he was gone we would have seen the 'others' more is just absolute poppycock. The others are just pretty dull let's face it. With the exception of Renee |

I have watched BB and CBB right from the start and this is the first time I've given up on a series due to the antics of housemates I have no idea who they are or even would watch the show that they are 'famous' for. I have given up on several series' in the past. I come back to watch it the next year, and if I enjoy it enough or am curious enough to want to see the outcome, I keep watching. If not, I stop. I don't care if these people are "famous" enough. To me, they're just people. "Celebrities" are often interesting in ways different than the "regular" housemates. I'm always curious to see their delusions about themselves and their fame. But still, they're just people. And I do like it because it's usually more of a mix of ages. I like having older housemates. People who actually stop watching do so, I imagine, for many different reasons. The person they liked was evicted, they didn't like any of the housemates, they didn't like the tone of the show, ... whatever. And, frankly, I really don't care why. While the premise is the same, it's not the same show every year, because it is about the people. |

Think I'd happily die out if the survivors were all like Bear. Have to ask who the attention seeker is none of you had to post in this thread, it could easily have 'died out' but with your need for attention you just keep it going and going.

Don't worry about the Stephen lovers... I'm with you.... You hinted at quitting and I understand.. I always stick with it whether I like it or not, but if Stephen is in the final I won't watch!!

How can you possibly be a fan of the show if you simply don't watch because a housemate you don't like is in the final? Does it always have to go in your own very niche way ? |
