Ricky was just kind, and that was acknowledged by Bear although he knew that Ricky didn't approve of his behaviour.

More endearing qualities by our Bear. Acknowledgement and self awareness. You're warming to him.

I like him, and I'd probably have had him down as an OK winner if it wasn't for the fact that he has dripped that wisdom-imparting --holier than thou thing all the way through

He was my winner by a mile the first week, but that simmering anger and rage he tried to contain showed me a side of him I disliked, but more than that, it showed a hypocrisy in judgement against Bear whom was by far more honest with his feelings.

We are all judgemental, look at you, accusing Ricky of it when he was ACTUALLY kind and it helped.

Ricky hides his true feelings and so have many of the other hms.

Bear shows exactly what he feels.

That's why he tops the polls and has survived every eviction.

Put any one of these hms in the same position each week, then I doubt they'd survive....and that includes Ricky who just happened to gain popularity this week.

Meaning it can't just be applied to Ricky for the fact that he is being 'nice'.
Bear has also been judgemental,. He has also been bitter, though calling others out for being so; and phoney and disingenuous, and so on and so on......

Bear was just upset that the two people he nominated got saved, his friend was evicted, the attention was on "Marnie losing her showmance" not "him losing his mate". Poor Bear. NOT

The problem is that the public (for whatever reason). keep saving him, i can't see anyone other than him from winning.

I also think he had to rethink his strategy : he was going to make a move on Marnie as soon as Lewis left but he didn't count on her being so upset .

He was angry as his" friends" have been picked off one by one and he is left with HMs he spent most of his time antagonizing and who seem to enjoy each other's company ....

He can't hide anymore and HAS to relate to them.... He is constantly counting the days to the end .

Poor man. He looked destroyed last night. Beaten by James last week, by Ricky and maybe Sam this week, no side kicks left in the house and his game plan turned to dust. I could almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't such an obnoxious, attention seeking idiot. Let's see how he regroups today.....maybe he has a plan C

Yes ...most scenes that have maximum viewing (and therefore attention) involve him inanely and childishly trying to turn the attention onto himself and yet bizarrely in nominations etc, he hides his face behind mask , sunglasses, etc

Yet ....in THE most attention-grabbing scene : when his ex came in and said her piece and therefore all attention WAS certainly going to be on him - he was seething. His lack of response to her was excused by his miraculously "tried to do the task" -for the first time.

Oppositional Defiance ?

This board is FILLED with Bear threads and is a testament who is really making this show, whether you like him or not, he gets people talking he gets people in the house talking, BOTS talking.

Without him this show would be dead and everyone knows it.

Whether they were being truthful or not doesn't matter! She has not been nice to most of the hms so she is lucky they didn't leave her crying on her own the way her group have behaved in there with no respect or care for anyone but themselves. She is lucky they gave her the time of day. Whether it was fake or not no one knows that at all.

In her hour of need she got comforted, which is more than she deserves and would probably be the last person to offer it to any of the other hms if they needed with how so self centered and me me me her group are.

What gets people talking is why he was allowed to dominate the show, the HMS and the edits when he should have been removed long ago
