Yes, he did, and he can handle himself articulately in an interview, whether he is interviewer or interviewee.

Maybe he saves his words for situations where someone might actually understand them.

And interesting, searching questions to answer. This is Big Brother with Emma and Rylan not Parkinson or Johnny Carson.

I can't imagine where asking searching questions would have gone with this lot. Anyway, C5 would probably only have shown it if it ended in a brawl or an orgy.

Even then they wouldn't have indulged in anything approaching real analysis or interrogative interviewing. They would just go whoo whoo - hi five!

I think James is far from dull. His was one of the best eviction interviews I've seen. Largely because he listened to the question, didn't perform and show off and could string a sentence together.

I think he is a big talker and had many conversations in the house I would have love to seen in HLs but unless you behave like a toddler or are in a show ch5 want to promote you might as well piss in the wind because it's never going to be shown.

I was sorry he went because I like him but it's for best because they were never going to show him in the GS/EOTB moron edit.

I thought that I was rid of him after he was booted off of the LBC 'Drive time' radio slot but no, thank you CBB.

Since when was he a "Talk Show Host"?

He does the breakfast show on BBC Essex and before that did the drivetime show on LBC.

There were loads of interesting conversations that were referred to but never aired because of editing in ONE HMs favour

A complete waste of the fees they paid the " celebrity " HMs - they could have just put Bear in there with some scarecrows or statues and it would be fit for the purpose they have evidenced.

If being dull means you don't expose your body, have public sex, indulge in anti social behaviour and deliberately upset people then I think I prefer dull.

That must be nearly ten years ago.

Edit:- And that was a phone- in radio show. You wouldn't call him talk show host. Isn't that more like Michael Parkinson used to do.

I found him really interesting, the little we saw of him.
Should have shown more of him.

The James Whale show was broadcast on late night ITV between 1989 and 1995.

That's going back too far to refer to him now as a talk show host, isn't it?

The problem is nowadays you cannot have an intellectual discussion in BB without risking being kicked out.

I'm sure he did. We caught a glimpse of them on live feed (with Ricky), but never on the highlights show. Not much chance of sensible conversation now. Who would Ricky talk to?
