I'm sure he could make some money doing 'prank' videos on youtube. Seems about his speed.

Too risky. He wouldn't behave that way with people he hasn't first had a chance to observe. He's too much of a coward for that.

Russell Brand is super intelligent and eloquent whereas Bear is the ADHD kid who talked over the teacher and couldn't stay still long enough to pass his GCSEs. So, no.
Actually Brand is not. He has purposely widened his knowledge of vocabulary, purely to confuse and gain attention....

‘The economic arm of the individualism and materialism ideologies that keep us framed in a narrow bandwidth of consciousness prevents us from seeing that we’re all connected'

the majority think this comment must be intelligent because they dont understand it. To those who do, its actually rubbish.

Hes just a strongly opinionated ex-druggie

98% of pranks on youtube are staged using paid actors from craigslist. Like I said, sounds about right for him

I've agreed with you on most things up until now. Whilst he does have messianic delusions there's some broader thinking going on that a lot of society would benefit from. He may not be the right vehicle but the message is pretty sound.

He made some headway with his anti-establishment/anti-government ramblings on the run up to the election but then lost all credibility, in my eyes at least. Again, the message that the power of the people outweighs the power of corporations was something I could get behind.

He also offered a glimpse into the corporate world and how these institutions lobby and gain power through money and how that kind of thing affects our lives. Sadly the majority of people are more interested in whether they've got the latest iphone, a better car than their neighbours, which makeup a celeb uses, reality tv than the real stuff going on in the world.

God yes. Most of the time he doesn't even use the words correctly.

Sure. But it's not an original message. Nor is it something people don't already think. He was just preaching to the choir.

I don't know, I think he was good for getting people thinking, people who don't normally get to hear that kind of thing. There's only a handful (in the grand scheme of things) who look for the bigger issues/wider picture and he did a decent enough job of at least getting some info out there.

If it got a few more people thinking, that's the main thing. Challenging authority is a good thing in the right circumstances (not for the sake of it - Stephen)

Can't believe he lost Katy Perry though, what a plank!

In my book, Bear could indeed be the next RB.
I find them both unappealing in equal measure.

RB may come across all clever with his linguistic dancing, but behind it is just another moron in love with himself.
