Not really much of a surprise there. It begs the question as to why Emma dragged Chloe over the coals for merely associating with Bear, whereas Lewis actually joined in! I wonder if it's a gender issue?

Lewis got off very lightly. Disappointing interview. Maybe Emma knows him well, lots of smiles for him. On the plus side, she looked great.

Well aside from her boobs and hair and her relationship with Bear, I don't think there was much to her in the house. So it makes sense that Emma would focus on that association... her time in the house was largely defined by that relationship.

Lewis wasn't shagging Bear, he had Marnie, and I think he integrated himself with more of the house than Chloe... more to talk about?

To be fair, Lewis didn't say he was not attracted to Bear, then proceed to have sex with him. Lewis didn't allow Bear to use him like a cheap piece of meat, to get airtime. I think Lewis is an arrogant knob, but he does have a strong sense of loyalty, which I admire. Once he'd put his colours on Bear's mast, he stuck by him for better or worse. I think Lewis thinks they have a friendship, whereas I think Bear doesn't give a stuff about Lewis. Chloe needed to use Bear to get her tits out as it was the only way to get any airtime. Emma gave Chloe a hard time because of her sleazy behaviour as well as her disingenuous relationship with Bear.

2 wrongs don't make a right. Chloe was treated harshly. And Emma wouldn't have done that if James was sat next to Chloe at her interview.

Lewis is an alpha (or wants to be), he wouldn't have taken it from Emma and she knows it.

Emma is a complete hypocrite and an unprofessional presenter. Her hanging out of the assholes of the housemates she likes is embarrassing. She acts like she is the voice of the British public.
Lewis has been one of the worst housemates ever and deserved taken to task on his narcissism and violence, yet all she could do was giggle with him about how much he loves Marnie.

If he had gone out alone, it would have been a different story I think.

He owes James a drink or three.

i would have thought that egging bear on and actually participating in the antisocial behaviour would have made a person more 'at fault' than sleeping with Bear.

I don't think you can attribute Emma's attitude with Chloe to a supposed lack of subject matter.

Mere association she did more than. 'associate' with that cretin! He banged her brains out, used her for airtime and she basically enabled and supported his moronic behaviour (as of course did Lewis!) for which I agree he deserved to be brought to task on but that would deviate from the producers agenda of promoting the showmance with Marnie so the primary focus was of course placed there.

I am so glad I'm not watching anymore...I don't think I'd have much hair left by now.

Last night, bored and sufficiently sozzled, I did watch my first episode of the series (Thursday's) as kind of an experiment. I may post about it but let's just say that most of the worst complaints about this series I've read on here were proven 100% correct

I've always thought Emma's great... I did notice though that when Lewis interrupted James's interview to say "I'm Glad I Brought My Notepad, So I Can Take Notes How To Chat Birds Up" she didn't pick him up on it.
There was a heartbeat of pure silence, then James went "Well" and carried on with what he'd been saying... I figured Emma didn't speak about it cos it was James's turn.

It's nothing to do with associating with Bear !
Lewis and James conducted themselves well last night !
Chloe has a history of interviews which she's asked for for drug abuse and receiving money from men to stay with them !
Chloe had a hard time for her behaviour ! She wouldn't care what she did or who she did it with .

Heavy D was the same he was hard work not remembering Emma's name and not following the conversation !
Nothing to do with Bear!
Lewis whatever he was like in the house spoke and listened particularly as did James!
Marnie is a very different type of girl to Chloe !
I don't think anyone evicted before Chloe or Heavy D will have a hard time unless bear loses the plot completely !
Chloe was a bimbo end of .
Heavy D came out Heavy D whereas he went in Colin!
Let's hope bear becomes Stephen Bear !

No I didn't like Lewis in the house but to be interviewed he was fine!
Emma was more worried about James in case she couldn't get a word in 😀

I think she did let him off lightly though. I couldn't stand him in the house, and Emma should have been more thorough.

You could say Chloe had a strong sense of loyalty towards Bear too, she stuck by him in the interview just like Lewis did and Emma absolutely lambasted her over it.

Didn't see Emma give Lewis much grief over HIS disingenuous relationship with Marnie either.

And what about Lewis' "sleazy behaviour"? Chloe might have gone topless but Lewis went full nude several times.

Why does one housemates sleazy behaviour warrant a patronising lecture and the other gets a free pass?

The only difference between the two was Chloe didn't carry herself with as much confidence as Lewis so Emma was able to pounce on her uncertainty and insecurity.

Oh and of course Chloe is an attractive female half Emma's age, like Hazel.

Exactly, Lewis was Bear's number 1 enabler. Funny how Emma seemed to completely gloss over that.

I thought she was going for a more "harsh" approach this year? Or maybe that's only for the housemates she doesn't like...

What in particular made Chloe's behaviour worse than Lewis's?

"Merely associating with Bear", lol. I can't see I noticed much snogging between Lewis & Bear, neither did Bear suck Lewis's nipples as far as I know, or have naked romps with him or tell him he wanted to f*** him. I take you point that Lewis participated ior at least encouraged n some of Bears "antics" and Lewis is a self centred, arrogant, vain Twonk but Marnie could be said to associate with Bear, Chloe's relationship with him was somewhat different.

I'm alarmed at your take on what has been happening the last few weeks. No seriously that is worrying.

In general Emma has two styles of Interviews one for Young Females and one for most Male H/M's. Her biased style of interviews has been raised ever year and she just cant help herself.

Personally, I believed Lewis's loyalty, but question Chloe's. She expressed her doubts about Bear and only allied herself firmly with him when the HMs turned away from her because of her sleazy behaviour.
Again, I believe more in Lewis's feelings for Marnie, than Chloe's for Bear. He has been consistent with his admiration, at least.
The nudity isn't the issue. Frankie, Lewis and Marnie have all been seen naked, but the context of their nudity was either for comic effect or just being naked in transit to the bathroom. Chloe's nudity was in a graphic sexual way, which showed no respect for the fact that she was living in a shared environment and created deliberately to get camera time.
I didn't see Chloe as uncertain or insecure. She was very assertive when bitching about HMs and didn't seem at all fazed by Emma's hard questioning. She didn't show any signs of insecurity when she posted naked pictures of Sam, hours after leaving the house.

No he didn't. He went to the DR with Marnie and pretty much stated that if Bear was going to carry on he'd find it difficult to stick by him and that Bear was peeing him off. He also told the other HMs he was getting fed up with Bears behaviour. He was slightly two faced on occasion.

Lewis is charming and articulate and attractive so of course he got an easier ride with Emma. And unlike Chloe, he hadn't copped off with someone who had a girlfriend outside the house and shown no remorse about it. Everyone in TV Land knew about Lillie and Bear and you can bet that Emma will bring it up when Bear is evicted too.
