John Barnes' & Nicole Cutler's non-gimmicky, joyous, fairly authentic Salsa is a great semi-forgotten dance too.

This dance is witty, classy, and shows that you don't need dozens of props and silly costumes to make it entertaining.

I shared it on another thread a little while ago, but that thread is closed now and thought some of you might like to see it.

It's a pro dance with Anton, Flavia, Vincent and Erin, and definitely isn't forgotten by me.

Thank you for linking it again StrictlyRed, I love Flavia and Anton dancing, Vincent with Anton and Erin lifting Vincent They are all brilliant together, really clever choreography.

It wouldn't let me multiquote any more, but I also liked

Vincent and Rachel's Christmas Show rumba - so very graceful - though perhaps that's not a 'forgotten' dance

Vincent and Louisa's jive - he was so patient with such a young celebrity

Also liked Ashley Taylor Dawson and Ola's cowboy Paso - wasn't the biggest fan of Ola's choreography, but she did a good job there with a difficult theme and a very tired celebrity (as he was coping with Hollyoaks and a new baby).”

I agree - Ola didn't have time to work on improving Ashley's technique - she had to hang around in Liverpool all day waiting for a chance to train him, which sometimes started very late at night.
I thought in the circumstances, their American Smooth and Tango were also good/great? (and forgotten).

Love the Rebel Yell jive. Wish they would do group dances like that now instead of the rubbish that is now normally danced.

I forgot!

My favourite forgotten dance from an earlier series is Erin and Colin's Foxtrot - especially their Christmas Show Foxtrot.

I really liked most of Colin and Erin's dances.

Can't find a full clip -

Definitely agree Ochre - those early Pro dances were brilliant
Why don't they still do then now and again?

Agree Fatskia - they did a good job under the circumstances

Thanks for everyone posting these, I am really enjoying them.
Some are from before I started watching so it is good to get the chance to see them now as they are new and fresh routines to me. The others of course are 'old' favourites for me.
It does create some mixed feeling though - reminds me how much I miss Vincent and Flavia and how good James and Ola were together such a shame (and a waste) that they seem to have lost their way. I also think Ola and Ashleys cowboy Paso was good, not just under the circumstances but a clever storyline to match the song. Shame about the ubiquitous knee slides in a way but looking back - that was Ola!!
Really can't wait for the new series to start!
