I know it's been said over & over but because it's the Bear show, we haven't had the opportunity to see the other's humour, it's been said on line that Katie is funny, Renee has had a few comical moments.
We've got rid of the self obsessed Lewis, all that needs to happen is for Bear to go & we might get the chance to see some of the other's funny side.
Frankie has also been entertaining and with Aubrey , no less. But none of this ever makes HLs because it's the Bore show.

They even cutaway from these episodes which featured the majority of HMs enjoying themselves to show Bear in the garden muttering to himself .

Bear calms down and gets on with people- "he has lost his mojo, he is fake"
Bear goes back to winding people up after a bit of a rest "he is a bully who is spoiling the show"
I agree, that is the position he's put himself in. You can't be both but he's giving it a good go which is why I don't know if the arc is going to work out for him.

As much as I dislike him he probably should have stuck with antagonistic t**t, at least he would have integrity points from his supporters.

In all fairness it was only a couple of days, his support is still very much increasing. I don't vote and I never will as I fear the vote may be rigged as it BB. However some people on twitter were claiming that they had voted 50 times for him. 2 other people said 30 times and two others 25 times. I like him but Im not that arsed about the show or what happens.

No I don't agree with this at all though.

They have taken time in the HL show to show Lewis making a tit of himself with all his comical moments - I have been thoroughly entertained by them!

They have taken time in the HLs TWICE to show Sam talking about her sexuality. Katie talking about her Grandma, Renee talking about her life and numerous other bits and pieces. If there was humour or wit that they could share with the viewers, they would definitely show it.

I'm afraid that there is no wit in that house - no-one whose humour would work for the viewers. In fact Bear himself has probably been the sharpest in there, and the one who has the ability to make people laugh - not that I expect the entrenched detractors to see it.

I see it the opposite way to you. Lewis has been a great loss to the house where humour is concerned, and the next biggest loss would be Bear.

Renee and Aubrey - "Bear is the only one keeping this interesting, without him the house would be boring as ****"

Have you watched live feed ? The funny scenes or conversations NEVER make it to HLs .
That's the whole point

Even live feed is only drip fed one hour and there's enough to show - but it never makes it to HLs because of The Bear edit

ETA
the others have only been given snippets since Heavy D left and bears ex had her cameo appearance because Bear " calmed " down a bit after that leaving a bit of space for the others who are by now worn down by the antagonism

I have seen every LF and whilst their has been funny moments I can't recall one that should of made it to the highlights show. Its only a 45 minute show.

This .
I've given up watching live feed because it's the polar opposite of the highlights show and it's driving me nuts that the interesting human interaction ends up on the editing room floor because BB want to force feed us the drivel that is Bore's 'journey' .

Ignoring him would be ideal but I suppose they don't for the same reason we respond to trolls ?

Well some of us found Frankie to be entertaining , Katie , Aubrey with Frankie .
Also James and Ricky had some interesting convos with others - never made it to HLs

I don't see why Bear is blamed for this though, he is playing the game.Surely its the producers fault for not balancing out the show properly? I've seen Bear have many normal chats on LF aswell but they only want to show the crazy stuff he does.

Mm yeah - group conversations where they are having a bit of a laugh. BB have never really shown that sort of stuff - it's not funny enough to be shown in full but it doesn't work when you cut it down - the context goes.

The sort of stuff that works for BB is short stuff, one liners, physical humour, original funny little ideas for ways to kill time - which is why Lewis's schtick was perfect - it fell into short little bite sized pieces, ideal for the HL show.

Plus - if it's already been shown on LF, it would be a waste to repeat it.

Agree - Lewis was funny -unintentionally so.
But there were also some snippets of Frankie and Katie that would have fitted the format you describe above.

But I guess its nostalgia for the ( old) days when it was a reality (and entertaining ) show and not geared as a cynical money -making machine that it has become .

Last night when Emma was about to announce the evictions. Cameras mostly on Bear, and what was he doing, when everyone else was just sitting normally, he was lying slumped across somehow making stupid faces, just like a six year old. He's a child in a grown up body.

Its strategic, Bear is in the house to to raise his profile and to be remembered. It has worked.

Yes - they will find a little room for comedic moments, but not much. The game will always come first, which involves bitching, arguments, alliances etc, romances and coupling up will always be shown, tasks and BB meddling will always be shown. ALL of these things were much less prevalent in earlier BB - but particularly BB meddling.

There used to be a big contrast between BB and CBB. The celebrities were more dignified, their careers were at stake. They didn't go in for sexy times, they were supposedly showing us their human side, and for that reason we did see a lot of very ordinary conversations and interaction.

This CBB is no different than regular BB. In fact I see it being compared to the regular show all the time. It is no longer a case of getting to known another side of well known people. They've filled the house with no marks who are faker than Chloe's breasts. The line has blurred and CBB needs to drop the C.

The bloke cannot win, it seems that everyone wants to watch people like Ricky be miserable. However he will get away with it, because he has "talent". Talent or no talent, without Bear this would of been boring. The people who say that Bear is boring and is ruining the show still watch and still talk about him regularly.
I would rather watch paint dry than which a idiot Behaving like a schoolboy He has ruined big brother for me this year and I can't get my head around people thinking h is entertaining Hemorrhoids would give me a bigger Laugh Than Bear could

Bib .Has she hell ! She's seen the light about 9 times regarding that buffoon and at this point I hope Bore wrecks all round him and infuriates them some more because I'm so over watching renee fawn over him like a silly school girl, feeding him, petting him, flirting , stroking his ego as well as his thighs ----PFFT ! She leads , the others follow suit . All the times they agreed to ignore the Bore it was Renee who broke ranks and tried treating him as a human and the others fell in line behind her . What a waste of time . In fact what a waste of this whole series . Disgustingly manipulated by BB and messed up by Mrs Mob who actually has as much bite as a toothless baby .
She seems afraid of him and in love with him in equal measures and it makes me want to throw up . People talk about the "fake niceness" ? Nope , it's the strutting and chest beating and puffing up to look big and bad and ferocious that is fake (yes I'm looking at you Renee and you Sam ) . The lack of testosterone in there baffles me . The only one who stuck to his guns re bore (as much as he could) is Ricky . So , Ricky for the win .👍
Totally agree in regards to Renee. She practically fell over herself yesterday to make sure Bear was alright after her letter. She said nothing about how nice the letter was or hugging her friends, all she cared about was fixing a plate for Bear 🙄. Silly woman!

Yes, but we've been laughing at his self-absorption & pomposity, not his entertainment value.
