Out of interest, what happened to that bloke that was after Liz-Amy's boyfriend's Dad? Did the script writers just forget him?!

I didn't see your comment and have just posted the same question. Ridiculous bad story continuation there-he just disappeared with no explanation. As if Liz would just let a man escape like that!

I'm not 100% sure, but I thinķ the story was finished early because the Liz actor needed time off for illness. I think both of them were really the kids' grandparents as Claremonts says, and I thought it ended abruptly too. The bloke just disappeared, along with Amy's pal.

Liz and Bev are great. And I hope the poor women never stumbles across this forum because people are ruthless, Liz isn't real but the women who plays her is. And I for one with shes a fine actress

If I was to say anything it's that her character is suffering like Peggy did in eastebders and like Stella did a few years ago, by being in the rovers full time she doesn't really have her own story, she's added on to everyone's.

What's me how fit Liz. Well I think a long running cancer storyline might be good? Or have her get hurt, either way loose her confidence then have to be re built eventually putting her mini skirts back on and fm giving everyone what for...

If you think it would be bad for Bev Callard stumbling on this forum try being Kym Marsh or Antony Cotton!!

The immediate storyline that jumps out is Liz losing the Rovers and watching her deal with that. It's not an 'explosive' plot but would provide some much-needed character development and give Liz some sense of direction. As I and others have said already on this thread, she works well when she struggles with life and this is the most obvious option.

Along with losing the Rovers, I'd like to see Liz suffer from severe depression and for them to cover it in the darkest possible way while still retaining some Corrie charm. Bev Callard has battled depression for years so she may be either really keen to cover this storyline or very reluctant. Personally I hope she would go with it as it could be great for the character and for her.

The likelihood of this happening is pretty much zero.

He's already sold his share once. Unless you think he can do a McCartney : sell song rights, but somehow they still belong to him.

Must buy it back or go to priss'n"
