The picking of new tribes made them totally unequal.
They have changed it too much from the us one. |

Another terrible intervention by the producers last week. LaPaglia lied again before an immunity challenge saying the winning team would be "safe from the vote", but there was no vote. And what did he do instead? Moved a member of the already severely weakened team that had lost every challenge to the hand-picked super strong team that had won every challenge, making the imbalance even worse. And what was the point when the weak team had become so small that a merge was required only one episode later? This sort of blundering interference in the game and dishonesty by the host would never happen in the U.S. version. The inexperience of the Aus producers is showing.

The merge did pretty much seem premature. I also believe there are a lot of scenarios in the AU version that are manufactured. It reminds me of Big Brother, with the producers who ask leading questions to push contestants toward unnatural story lines. It also makes me question the US version of Survivor, which may be better edited, but suffers from the same manipulations. The #blindside seems to be the only thing driving Survivor anymore.
I don't really think the AU version is any less polished than the US version, but with 3 times the episodes, the manipulation comes across as a lot more likely. That said, I prefer Survivor with hundreds of contestants and multiples of them sent home weekly. It's awkward at first, but less boring than 1 episode per week. |

What attributes in a contestant makes them a "good guy"?

![]() Some of them do talk like it's Big Brother and there's an audience voting for them. |

Those three girls are so smug and annoying.
Silly mat messed up that vote and sue went. The editing is far more brutal than the us one, most of them look really stupid and naïve. |

Matt is so stupid to think that he's in a four person alliance with the girls. How can he possibly think El would take him to final four over Lee? It seems that people want to play the game when it's too late. Why has JL suddenly popped up and realised they need to target the girls? She knew she wasn't part of the core alliance so when Kate, Kristie and Connor merged with them, she should have joined with them and Sue to take someone out.
I really hope the girls don't win as I just don't like them and their arrogance but to be fair, they are running the show. |

Damn that was one frustrating episode today. I was rooting for Kristie up until this one but Lee may as well put at leash around her neck

Kristie's annoyed me for a while. Phoebe saw her as someone she couldn't work with.

These people are so stupid, why are Lee and El in the top 4 together?
Flick telling El she plans to vote her out was a terrible move, and Kristie going back to Lee and El was stupid. |

The main problem was Kristie, as it was the week before.
Oh...and Matt saying he loved that WW3 had broken out was stupid as hell, maybe he realised that when he was knocked out. |

I think they left it too late to get rid of Lee as he probably win out from here. And he has control over Kristie manipulating her into staying loyal to him and El (manly him).
I think Flick had no choice to vote Matt to save herself as Kristie is so wishy washy. She made a huge mistake keeping Kristie around. |

Oh Kristie. What are you like?
Should really be giving Lee & Elle credit for switching up the vote , but the moralistic tone they continue to push is getting on my last nerve. For me, the only way this season ends on a high now is a Flick win. |

This would be a lot more enjoyable if the contestants were not so dumb, Kristie now has to win immunity and would still have a hard time beating Lee or El. Her best chance of winning was to get to the final two with Flick.....so she votes Flick off????

This show is terrible, the editing is so bad that you often are totally surprised with how the vote goes. I don't like any of the final four. Downhill since Jr left. Anyone else finding the accents really annoying? El is the worst |

Kristie would be the worst Survivor winner ever. Seriously awful, these last two episodes she has been so so stupid.

The last few weeks have definitely become very frustrating. The problem is that I don't find anyone since the beginning of the jury even remotely likable. The clique mentality that happened in so many Big Brothers continues here on Survivor.
Also, I have changed my mind on 3 episodes per week. It seems like this series has been going on forever. It's only been a couple of months, but it feels like the end of a marathon. They slowed down from 3 episodes per week to 2, which slowed down the whole series, and are now back at 3 again in the final weeks. Kristie has annoyed me because the changing shadows on her face remind me of "two-face" from Seinfeld. Sometimes she looks pretty, and other times she looks like an ogre with warts and a moustache. It's distracting. I also have no idea why she wants to compete for the final spot against two multiple immunity winners, but whatever floats her boat. The final three are dire. |

Voice or accent? El's accent sounds fairly normal to me (I'm an Aussie, so maybe I hear it differently). So does Flick's and Kristie's. Lee's broader accent is the one I like least.
Christy is such an empty vesle. If she had of taken it to fire then she would of earnt reasons for her to get votes. They manipulated it at the start, when it wasn't needed. They should of manipulated it to get either Lee or el out when it was final 5. |

Wasn't that the final immunity challenge of the very first series of US Survivor?
Regarding the final 2 and winner:
