Ricky in the task
Why didn't Ricky just get amongst it? It was a light-hearted task that was created purely for fun, no drama related and Ricky refused to do it. What is she in the house for? Apart from the obvious ofcourse.

I did. You saw what Frankie did. Ricky knew what Frankie was going to do, it was set up for Frankie. Why would Ricky humiliate himself? I respect him for not doing so.

I think when he saw the honey and the feathers, he knew Frankie was going to strip and do what he did. What could he have done really? Honestly? He just gave it to Frankie. Ricky is not an outrageous man and it wasn't his thing at all. Yes, he was so called "caught" doing something naughty but it was with someone he sort of knew and in private, not on TV.
Also if he is hoping for an Eastenders return, they are very strict about these things and he will have to keep his head down. I personally would not have poured honey over my head - honey is bad for the hair :0) That task was set up for Frankie and I am sure if he was in the marshmallow or acting task he would have nailed it |

Frankie was going to win anyway. I would have done the same. No reason to sully myself just to lose when there is no prize at stake.

I thought he was exactly as he has been throughout the show - A wet blanket.
Could he actually get any more boring?

Short of stripping off what could he do. He doesn't want to do anything to embarrass himself. Unlike the others he has talent. Eastenders have left the door open for Fatboy to return, if he gets the public vote his popularity could get him his job back or other roles, why risk that for a stupid task.

No but he does want other acting jobs. I agree that the same as prople have said above it was clesr what Frankie would do so why try to compete? The drawing the eye on the hand though - didn't Nasty Nick do that in BB1. I seem to remember he did and if so was that Ricky 's way of indicating I am as outrageous as BB1 proper BB ever got or am I reading too much into that?

As opposed to be a total prat like the rest of the men in there with the exception of James who IS boring. Frankie is Frankie.
The whole idea of the tasks in BB is to allow yourself to be a prat. If he didn't want to give as much of himself as the others he should have given the show the swerve. To accept the fee and do precisely nothing is just rude. |

Reading far too much into that one I reckon. Even if I knew I wasn't going to win, I would of just done it for fun. Its only putting feathers on your body its hardly up their with pissing the bed or something. Even James had more of a laugh in the house than Ricky has.

The rest thrive on getting naked, talking nonsense, fake relationships, getting drunk and doing silly things. Ricky, boring or not, is an actor and he was a good one especially as Fatboy was the total opposite of who he is in real life. People also forget that Eastenders has a huge cast and has a serious work culture plus the whole moral code in the contract so they do tend to keep a low profile. Even Jacqueline Josia who is with that ex-Towie, Dan doesn't get too involved in all that reality stuff. With the exception of Daniella W, I personally have respect for Eastenders actors as its substance over style (most of the time). So it is not surprising that he is a bit like dear in head lights and probably finding it really hard with all these extreme characters in the house. He probably doesn't interact with loads of so called celebrities normally and hasn't been on many shows. I can imagine it being intimidating on all counts. Plus the guy was depressed! I think its so brave of someone to come out and try to pull himself out of the darkness and take the plunge to do this. BB is not for the faint hearted and I don't think we will truly understand until we actually sit in the house and have to hear people screaming at nothing, every word you say, analysed and twisted plus people pulling out their boobs and willies at every given opportunity,

Could he actually get any more boring? ![]() ![]() Both of these two are far too desperate to change their image to likable it's just cringeworthy the length they'll go too not to act in anyway in fear of negativity.

Honestly, Im bemused as to why people voted for him. Sure, he is a good actor, I loved his character in Eastenders but this is a reality show and he is giving nothing. When you sign up to a show like BB you should be prepared to do tasks like that and make a bit of a tit of yourself.

Well only if not minding making a bit of a tit of yourself is who you are. Its a reality show and I guess we saw the real Ricky. It contradicts "this is a reality show" if people do things just because it is expected because they are in a reality show. To act like a performing monkey is not very real for many people. They are fuflilling the brief much better if they do what their sensibility guides them to do because that is reality.

Katie is way ahead with that award.

It's a sad but unwritten rule that the boring radar dodgers sail through to the end.

Its a task I'm talking about, putting feathers on yourself is hardly extreme is it? James played the game and dressed up as a woman so why wouldn't Ricky participate?

I don't see how he'd be more outrageous than Frankie.
