It's all in the editing. Anyone who's ever watched 24/7 live feed knows that.

It is a bit like people watching when there has been an accident - they all stand and watch.

It's the Bear show on tv, and it's the Bear show inside the house. Everyone loves our Bear. They are fixated.

They're stuck with bear so they use him as s cheap and lazy way to amuse themselves but it's only because he's there and acting like s performing monkey. Out of choice, they wouldn't be within 109 miles of him |

Indeed. It's like the crazy woman in our office who rants about her ex all day long. She's entertaining in a car crash way but no one would choose to spend time with her out of choice.

In the first few weeks they tried to convince him with polite conversation, arguments, logic, kindness, anger etc, but he is so thick-skinned (and just thick) that they have given up.
Just imagine.... If you're in a room and there's someone shouting, getting drunk and throwing food around, arguing with people, and nothing you or anyone can do has any positive effect on him then you DO find the atmophere is low for everyone but the trouble maker. They are over the shock and resigned. He is a selfish knob and ruined their time in there. He thinks he's wonderful but hes NOT. |

They just make it look that way. That meal was shown on Live Feed and Bear wasn't mentioned once. They all joked, laughed, socialised and had a good time. No Bear, nothing. It was pleasant and nice to see the friendships, the dynamics amongst the others who have all been friendly with each other.
Meanwhile Bear was sat alone in the garden mumbling to himself whilst Marnie was in the DR doing her thing. |

makes sense to me?, i am sure most of you bear detractors will "barely" agree lol my god! what a bunch of unexciting sleeping pill taking lot they are, thank the lord! for the benevolent teddy-bear I really don't think the uk public are going to reward them for putting them to sleep every episode by the end/finals, but only time will tell 😃 |

If I was having dinner with Philip Roth, Margaret Atwood, Salman Rushdie and David Mitchell and if there was a rat taking a shi* on the table - much as I'd saw off my arm to have dinner with any of them - I'd still probably be looking at the rat taking a shi* on the table.
Doesn't mean I find the rat more 'entertaining' or more 'interesting'. It's just what you do when something utterly obnoxious intrudes on your life. |
