If Louis is doing his this weekend as reported it can't be Fleur. She's performing at the V festival.

Alesha is amazing on BGT because she is always being herself. If they let her do that here (it is XF, so I'm not sure...) then she'll be superb and an asset even just as a guest.

Oh, and Simon - please stop ramming Fleur down our throats. The shameless promotion was bad enough last series, she isn't a good "artist". How much do you wanna bet they'll introduce her by playing that silly 'Sax' song in the background?

Honestly, I know Syco artists have always appeared on Syco shows (to be expected), I watch clips from 2013 (or even 14) and the blatant advertising wasn't anywhere near as bad. The pointless - and very mimed - Little Mix/Fleur duet on the series 12 final just proves how OTT the promotion has become.

Sorry for the rant.

They are alway's going to promote one of their best acts.

Alesha i'd agree with but ... Fleur🤔, She's hardly in a place in her career to advise with Louis (when in the past Jessie J, Mark Ronson, Neyo, Ed Sheeran and Emma Bunton have been guests), Alesha should've done it on her own imo.

You will have to speak to the moderators if you are not happy with the nature of the thread. Getting back to the point of the thread it is ideal having Fleur as one of the guests at judges houses as she has the experience of being both a successful act on the show, and progressing in the right direction afterwards.

yep at the rate of progress fleur is showing she might get a top 40 hit in another few years time, assuming SYCO continue to throw money at her to get her the exposure

Okay then if you're pitting her again little mix then she has a way to go - she needs to continue working hard on her second album and in the grand scheme of things do I think she should be doing this 8 months after her debut! Not really but she's been in the industry for 11 years and has done a lot in that time - but it's still to soon in my opinion but am I looking forward to seeing her on tv and giving valuable advice and getting herself out there, of course I am because being everywhere is what being a pop star is all about if you don't like her fine but don't downplay her success and act like she has done nothing because she's actually done pretty well. Platinum single and gold album in this climate off back of one single - not easy.

It does look as if Fleur is being shoe horned in if so. Unless others have yet to be announced.

I've really gone off Alesha recently. She sits there on BGT like she's something special when in actual fact, she's a flop.

As for Fleur, I get the feeling she isn't going to last until this time next year. She's had one hit so far. I always get the impression she thinks she's much bigger than what she actually is.

Fleur and Alesha are awful they should of got Tulisa back.

I've met Fleur a few times and she is not arrogant she doesn't think she's bigger than what she is - she has confidence on stage as she's a performer she needs to have that charisma - off stage she's humble really kind and so down to earth - you won't get any artist as normal as Fleur. She can't help what she gets booked for that's down to her management and syco

Adding to this Fleur has been in the business for over a decade at varying levels so the advice that she can give the contestants will be beneficial for them.
