X Factor have introduced a new twist at bootcamp stage. There are also only three going through from the judges houses this year too. https://t.co/EwNJIiuxwy

Good twist, if not a bit pointless. Although 1 or 2 might make the live shows, if a judge doesn't think an act is good enough for the top 6 then they won't make the top 3 out of 7 acts unless they do something pretty special.

It would've been better if they did what they did a few years ago where the judges choose a wildcard for each other to go through to the live shows.

“For the first time ever, the panel – Nicole Scherzinger , Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne – have been told to pick one wildcard act for a rival judge to add to their final six before the judges’ houses leg of the competition.”

I can't see what the point is. If they get a wildcard picked for them that they don't want or agree with, they simply don't put them through to the Lives

Now if they had an wildcard picked for them to go to the live shows, that would liven things up

They did that in 2014.

This is the exact same twist but at six chairs, which is utterly pointless as you say
