Absolutley! It was possible, as I thought it was going to be interactive like usual as that's how the show works. I was surprised to see Marvin was still on and this explains it. You're right.

They might aswell voice track it every week, doesn't add anything tbh.
They kept crashing into the vocals as well also another poster said there was a sattalite fail on Peak Fm the audio will follow in the next few days.

Seems like it keeps getting removed due to the music which is detected through Soundcloud's Copyright system. Try uploading to http://vocaroo.com

When did you hear this? Heart & Capital don't use their localizer at the end of the promos as they are run at the end of ad breaks.

Thanks mate! Sounds like IRN 3 failed to switch off, causing the backup tape to kick in when the satelitte went to dead air. May I also ask which software you use to schedule the recording of the streams?

I use StreamWriter. Probably not as sophisticated as some of the stuff out there but does the job and is free

I heard it on Capital so they must used the wrong trailer.

Peak FM is a Wireless Group station. They take the IRN 3 feed from 12pm as it is used for their networked programs also. What happened in this audio, is the satellite feed failed to switch off. The news intro didn't fire either, which is why there is a 10 second gap before the '2 minutes'. IRN 1 also failed to switch on at 4.

Yes it did fail to switch off im sure they could fade it up manually incase the closing contacts fail.

No closing contacts are sent on the Wireless Group feed. It's down to the IRN 3 off Macro. The whole point of networking is that 1 station takes care off a whole load. It's cheaper, and easier. No-one is there to manually fade up.

Ah right also the reason why the wireless group cant afford an ip system is due to the cost, this was mentioned in a previous forum a few years ago.

Cost is generally the reason people can't afford things.

I think there will be a few Wham and George Michael songs in the chart this week.

People are predicating Careless Whisper will top the charts?

I don't think it will top the Big Top 40 considering it's been falling in the iTunes chart all week. There will probably be a few in 40-11.

I have just looked at the schedule on Heart and see that Bassman is presenting the show this week, it describes the show as counting down to the first Number One of 2017 so will it be a chart of the year or just the first chart of 2017 counted down?.
