Have you not watch I'm a Celeb - the Century Eggs make everybody heave! They've used them on BB regularly too, heave city again.

He could've at least tried it. I have to say, I'm losing patience with him now. I like him, but much prefer him when he's a BOTS panellist. 🤓

The century egg is rolled out every series, he will know this as he's a huge BB fan. Come on Ricky, get stuck in about it 👍

It was rotten egg.

I felt for him because he looked so sad for a short while but soon began to cheer people on and was dancing and enjoying himself at the end. At least he's genuine. Since when has being nice and reserved been boring? Does today's culture dictate that we must act like sex-crazed, gobshites to be interesting?... What balls!!!

Do you mean it was a disgusting tasting IAC-type drink rather than a regular eggnog?

ETA: Ah, ok. I see now, I missed that bit.

No I agree with you, but he could at least have picked it up and smelt it first, unless he knows exactly what a Century Egg is of course - it probably smelt enough for him to know even without picking it up, mind you

I don't blame him for not drinking something that has made people vomit who have drunk it.

I'd have flatly refused the Century Eggnog...I don't blame him at all. Ugh.

I would have done the honey and feathers though (for the record, I'd have chucked the lot on Bear...how outrageous!)

Is it just me who thinks Ricky might have OCD and struggle with messy tasks?

He's blatantly gone in just for the cash and is desperately trying to avoid ending up on any BB "Best Of" compilations they trot out on CH5 in the future. He doesn't want this shite on his CV

I agree. Makes you wonder if it's art imitating life or life imitating art...

bib - that'd have been a sight to see Ricky wouldn't do that though, as we know from Live Feed, they are friends.

Agree. He obviously doesn't care if he wins or not and won't do anything just to appease the voting public like the rest of the fame hungry idiots. Good on him for refusing.

Reckon it would have been a show-winning masterstroke both inside and outside of the house LOL

He's a man who knows his own mind...he knew he couldn't drink it so why faff about . He's thrown himself into all the important tasks. Winning a treat is not worth the effort. The others lost the shopping task and he didn't complain.

I wouldn't do a life endangering activity that might make me seriously ill either.

I do understand why Ricky wanted to do BB after the awful time he has had, but I don't think he was emotionally ready. He seems very vulnerable and I think he has struggled to cope with Bear. He is so guarded that he is wary of doing or saying anything that may affect the way he is viewed. It seems that there is still too much going on inside Ricky still, so we are not seeing his light-hearted, fun side. However, I am enjoying his one on one chats with James, Bear and other HMs.

Fatboy would've been up for any of the tasks and would have made them fun to watch too!!!

Ricky is a nice guy but Christ, team player he isn't and for that reason if lost respect for him.

Is such a shame when you prefer someone's alter ego or character better than the actual person. Or when someone plays a role that's loved and then serves aas a disappointment in real life.

I've felt like this a few times, with john patridge earlier this year, and Anthony cotton from Corrie when he was in I'm a celebrity.

He overestimates his own credibility.he was a character in Eastenders not Marlon bloody Brando.

C'mon Ricky - at least take a sniff!

With the honey and feathers task, he knew he couldn't compete - we all knew that! - but he could have had some fun. One small blob of honey on the tip of his nose to stick on one feather would have done it!

He's a bit disappointing to say the least.

This !!!!

I like Ricky and was looking forward to him being in BB thinking he'd be funny and Entertaining ,as well as serious when need be ,an all round HM .

However I've been really disappointed in him ,from what we've been shown he's just been a Miserable Mard-Arse who has took himself far to seriously as if the whole thing is beneath him

Didn't Jason eat one of the century egg things in the most recent civilian BB? It didn't kill him.
