The girlfriend in question made a lot of fuss at the time before later admitting that there was no cheating went on & "Samia seems like a nice girl" so make of that what you will!!
For my part I have never heard or read any comment from anyone outside this forum & a couple of Ms Metcalfe's 'friends' suggesting anything other than what a genuinely lovely person she is!!
She certainly seems to be universally loved by everyone connected with Corrie!!

I have actually known Sylvain for a few years now and from before he joined Dancing On Ice and know enough to know that most of what was posted at the time was complete and utter rubbish.

Have met Samia a couple of times and they are a really lovely couple and really good together and Samia is an absolute sweetheart as is her daughter Freya. Jennifer Metcalfe I also met when she was with Sylvain and can't really say the same and she came off as rather possessive and clingy and definitely not the friendlier type.

They are both happy and have a gorgeous baby and wish them all the best for the future.

Always nice to see positive comments on Samia & Sylvain as there was so much dreadful & vile stuff posted at the time from people who had no idea of the facts!!

Ikr, she seemed so close to her mum when she appeared on DOI. Also she seems very family orientated especially after all that stuff of her wanting her late dad to walk her down the aisle, I was shocked to read that she did not invite her mum.

It's probably classic case of mum disapproves of husband material and daughter has chose husband over mother.

It's such a shame!! Really hope they soon sort this out!!
I know from the bits I've seen & read about her Mum that she can come across a bit 'full on' but life's too short to be falling out with family you love like that!!

Not that I'm judging any of them on the evidence presented in a Sun newspaper article but if true it's a shame anyway!!

Sadly it's true, her brother (who also wasn't in attendance) confirmed it to the Daily Fail.

Like you say we can't judge, I don't speak to certain members of my family so she may have her reasons.

Hopefully she had nice day despite all the family drama.
