Should this sort of thread really be in a Soaps forum? Isn't there "zelebs" section for those who love reading about and discussing the lives of second rate actors?

Since we are discussing an actress from one of the biggest soaps on TV I see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't be in the soap section!!
However if you don't wish to join in the thread I suggest you ignore it, it really isn't that difficult!!

Just ignore him ndd. For some reason jsmith (who used to be one of my most respected posters on here) has recently become the self-appointed Forum Police and does little more than come into threads and pick them to bits.

err if other posters can post threads about ex soap stars that haven't graced a soap for years and are more popular for other things then surely a post about a current soapie is allowed.

This is indeed a perfectly reasonable place to have a thread on Samia.
We can comment on her marriage, her acting, her character or any Samia-related commentary.

I agree, and as always she is staying true to her character!!
For those who don't like the character, fair enough but Samia plays the part consistently & realistically unlike a GREAT many on the show atm!!
