There is a big difference between Bear and Helen.

Bear is aware that it's a game show, and he is treating it as such. He may be a massive wind up, that's his tactic, but he doesn't appear to hold any malice with his fellow housemates.

Helen on the other hand had malice with over half the house once the show had finished. And being called a game player, despite being on a game show, was the most heinous crime in her eyes.

Don't like bear but Helen is the worst ever she made all the worst ones look like saints

Bear has won, its been fixed for this since Day 1. Its ashame, in fact its really annoying. The population of tweeny voters, the fix aspect have all resulted in this.

CBB has been dominated by Bear, and again i find that harsh on the others who havent had a look in.

A 'joker' of the most malicious kind whose behaviour impacts on other HMs and causes real distress at times. There is no point in comparing Bear with Helen, as each caused distress in very different ways.

Nothing at all, she was a vile spiteful woman who sailed through BB because of her pass to the final. Bear may be a pain the ass but we have at least had the opportunity to evict him each week.

Bear will win. Look at the polls now, even here on DS he is 2nd in the polls, very close to top. He's on top of TiBB, 2nd on Tellymix (which usually means the winner tbh).

The only way he may not win is if in the Top 2, he is up against someone who is not Marnie, and huge numbers of people will vote for the other person to win.

I agree. She had no redeeming features at all. Bear is at least funny.

IMO, Bear is infuriating, but only because he's a huge WUM. He's annoying, but that's part of his plan to get people annoyed.

Helen was much worse. She purposely attacked people in a different way.

I don't like Bear at all, but he has never raised his voice to my knowledge. Helen though was a banshee and a bitch of the highest order who loved to kick people while they were down.

Wait a moment - where do you get the idea that people who appreciate Bear's input into the house approve of his behaviour? Why do you think that people can't separate reality TV from real life?

It's such a lazy argument and it is only really mooted to try and put down the people who enjoy watching Bear. This morally superior attitude is an unpleasant trait on here.

Bear is a wind up merchant - he gets a HM in his sights and targets them to annoy and push the whole day - or however long it takes them to break down - and then he still carries on.

He is a bully - a very clever one but BB knows it makes good telly (not for me) and they have not evicted him yet...

To me if he wins then he will deserve to win, as does whoever wins as they will have polled the most votes......Bear makes me laugh now......he doesnt take himself seriously and without him what is there yo show, half the HM's sre only featuring in the HL's because of Bear

Bear is horrible, should have been thrown out weeks ago, a nasty person who BB want to promote.

A person who the public will vote for, which shows the state in which this country is in.

I feel sorry for the other housemates how can they do or say anything when the producers keep ramming Bear down our throats every single night!

Like i said above he will win that is pretty much guaranteed, Although if you think i will be watching him crowned the winner you can think again.

Bear is actually worse then Helen and if he does win then it is only a matter of time BB will be permanently off the air. He is totally fake and only there to cross promote another dire reality show. His strategy is to be the most obnoxious prick ever to be on BB and with a vote to save he will be saved by the sadistic side of the public that just want to keep him in to piss everyone off!

I don't find him remotely entertaining and him being allowed to do whatever he likes is not BB. And BB is no longer in control so this is the end of once a great program which has entertained the world!

I agree, although I feel sorry for him. Only a lil thoguh as he is making himself to be the bad guy and making a bad reputation for himself. He might find some work but not much, he will have a bloated ego and people won't want to work with that.

Yep. She knew that she was a finalist no matter what she said to other housemates.

Both horrible, nasty individuals.

The points in the post I quoted have been repeated here often:

- You wouldn't find it funny if it was done to you.

- You wouldn't like it if you were living with him.

- His behaviour is not acceptable in a real life situation.

The moral superiority comes from the suggestion that the person who does not share this opinion is not as aware of social niceties as those who do hold this view. Your somewhat diluted view that people who share this opinion 'don't like seeing people unhappy' is still the same thing.

People who do appreciate Bear have often argued that this is a game show, for entertainment purposes, and all the HMs are in there of their own free will. But that has never cut any ice - it is not accepted that you can be a perfectly decent person in real life, but enjoy a little bit of Bear's evil mischief on the telly.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
