“So, are you basically saying that because he's doing it on a TV show, then that's perfectly okay?”
Yes.

“Would you be saying that if a close family member or friend was in there with him and he was goading away at them? With all due respect, I don't think you would, so in my eyes, him doing it on a TV show doesn't make it okay.”
Bear is playing the game. He is trying to get a rise out of people - and frequently succeeding. And when he succeeds, he often gets the HMs to reveal a part of themselves which they would have preferred to keep hidden. That is his game. He is like a task.
If anyone close to me was stupid enough to want to go on this show, I would hope that they were fully aware of what they were letting themselves in for.

“And it is real life for them. They may be on a TV show, but it's real life for them because they're all living together under one roof 24/7. That is how they are spending their lives until they're evicted.”
This is only real life for these people in that it is a job they have chosen to do - in most cases for a large amount of money. There's an awful lot that can be thrown at them in the BB house, and HMs they have a problem with is one of the most easily foreseeable obstacles. They should be well prepared for that.
