As were Carolynne,Jade,Kye and Ella. The sing offs that year were a disgrace.The final 12 in 2012 were actually my favourite as we had everything from every genre but the order of eliminations ruined it.

That's because the production was obsessed with the Boybands and Jahmene's sob stories.

I can't believe Melanie was 11th in week one after her performance - just 0.1% away from the bottom two, and 0.3% from being in last place! Utterly bizarre considering what kind of dross was on that series and the performances they were putting in.

It was the worst finalist line up ever, for me, not helped by the fact the better acts dropped like flies.

Jade Ellis that year being eliminated still bugs me. The most talented, unique singer by far.

The voting was horrible that year, most of the first five to go were 100x more talented than the acts we were left with.

As has been mentioned, Jade's elimination in particular was highly unjustified after she sang Union J off the stage (even though it was obvious they would be saved)
