I stopped watching for 2+ weeks because the moron edit was so monotonous. It didn't annoy me, just bored the backside off me.

Even now will miss it if I don't fancy it. I've gone from obsessive who wouldn't miss it to only watching if I'm in the mood. Which is only occasionally this series.

Mind you it's worked in my favour re Bear; he doesn't seem to annoy me half as much as he does others. Think I missed the worst of him.

I reckon it's going to be a Ricky / Bear final 2 and I'd be happy with that. It's pretty much Bear V the good guys and Ricky is as good a candidate as any....but personally I'd prefer it to be Renee getting the Anyone But Bear vote but Ricky's alright.

No, Ricky is nothing like Alex, he's decent and kind and a normal guy like the majority of us, not a fake reality star who you don't really know and who acts up for the cameras! Plus Ricky is an actor and talented unlike the talentless reality show wannabes!

Ok, so he hasn't stripped off, had a showmance, got drunk, thrown food around,deliberately started rows or acted like a brat showing off for the camera, if that makes him boring for some people they shouldn't complain because there has been no shortage of trashy behaviour to watch, if that's what people find entertaining.

Live feed shows another side to the edited highlights, he spends a lot of time with Bear in the garden, and actually brings out a nicer side of him, they joked about nominating each other, Ricky comforted him over the staged girlfriend stunt, and opened up about his own relationship, the other footage interrupting it was Marnie and Lewis slobbering over each other and fumbling under the duvet. There has been a lot we haven't seen on highlights.

He has been kind, considerate and just plain nice, a bit of a gossip here and there but nothing malicious. In a house full of talentless show offs, he has come across as a gentle soul who is likeable and in the end that has won him votes. We want to like the winner, others might have provided the footage, but they are not necessarily the winners. Bear has copied the obnoxious Marc, we have seen it before and he didn't get to the last three.

Well said, we see so much more of Ricky in the live shows at night and he shows his compassionate and kind side to Bear and others. James said on this morning today that he spent a lot of time with Ricky and he's one of the good guys. People will only nominate Ricky because they find him a threat to win! I hope he goes on to win because in this day and age when there is so much violence about it would be good to see one of the good guys coming out on top!

If it was the civilian version he wouldn't pass the first round of auditions, he's tepid, weak-willed and almost invisible..

Still, being good looking and nice will get him to the final 3 at least.

I would also take issue with you saying that he 'brings out the nicer side' of Bear - we have seen many HMs having nice conversations with Bear. Why do other HMs get credit for the nice conversations - could it be at all possible that Bear has a nice pleasant side??

As for Ricky, the moping bore is the biggest disgrace in the history of television. The fact he's getting paid more than almost everyone involved in this show is utterly vile and disgusting to me. I'm struggling to think of a bigger injustice in the world right now. It is appalling the thought he could actually win this show.

He wasn't "nice and reserved" when he was storming round the kitchen a few weeks ago threatening to punch Bears lights out.but then the mask was quickly put back into place when he realised we were all watching. hes done nothing to merit winning .what would his best bits be? drying the cutlery?

Bear has made the show interesting. Without him, the entire series would have been a total dud. With him, this is going to be one of the most memorable CBB's ever and he's already guaranteed his status as a legendary housemate.

Ricky has done nothing but mope around pretending to listen occasionally and then sniping about that person behind their back. He's a horrible human being.

I think he's a lovely, quiet and gentle guy. Who speaks up when he needs to and keeps schtum when it's appropriate to.

He has showed more restrain that I ever could, living in such close promoxity with Stephen Bear and that odious moron Heavy Colin D.

Never watched East Enders since the Angie Watts days, so that accusation cannot be leveled that I'm an EE fan.

I'm just catching up on playback but I'm surprised MORE people aren't supporting Ricky. I think he's lovely. Very sweet and considerate; very funny in the shock pads task especially, very intuitive and empathetic and seemingly a good and interesting conversationalist. He's had a tough time in recent years and takes full responsibility for that. He's clearly a talented actor as his EE character was SO different to what he's like on CBB.

Every housemate who has lived with Stephen and Colin without having some kind of nervous breakdown gets my utmost respect and deserves every penny of their paycheck.

He's a backstabber who pretends to be a gentle guy only to say horrible things behind your back.

And BB is no place for a lovely, quite gentle guy - even if he was real.

There are genuinely nice gentle people, for me Ricky is one and I am glad he is in the house to counter balance the hideous manchild Stephen Nasty Bear.

He hasn't made the show interesting for me, far from it. Apart from his slobbering all over Chloe, all he's ever done is attention seek and act like a 5 year old. If he wasn't goading, he was throwing food about. He seems to have 'quietened' down a bit, tho I put that down to losing his side kicks and enablers.

I certainly wouldn't put him in the 'Legendary' house mate category either. 😹

As for Ricky, well he's been an all round nice bloke. Topping last weeks vote proved that.
