I don't really like miso, I always think I will and then I try it and remember that I don't ![]() I can't have miso - it's soya...I seem to miss out on experimenting with so much food because of my medication issues with soya products. |

Nope, it's a dome, it's not completely spherical, just half a one.

best dish the dessert queen has done isn't a dessert
one of my pet hates with her comments as she was walking the dish up to the judges about not knowing whether her fish was cooked right and whether it might be over or under. shouldn't they know when they put it on the plate if its cooked right ? |

You'd think, but on the other hand it has to wait around while the studio is cleared and reset for the judging and it will have gone on cooking, so you can sort of understand the overcooking concern. Not the undercooking, though.

i could understand if they thought they might have slightly undercooked it, or slightly overcooked it but not knowing whether it was under, right or over just seems a bit strange
I can't take to Brett at all. There's something about him really raises my hackles. |

What's with this fad of making custard out of anything? I don't get it. Is it actually custard?
It's quite an admission to go on Masterchef and say you don't really do anything but dessert. Really? I know it's not rational, but to see so many folk desperately working the dessert from a mystery box that pretty much screams main, annoyed me on some fundamental level. I know, I know. Must not get annoyed by dessert queens. |

Really enjoying this series so far, first time ever for me that, at the moment, there is not anyone I dislike or get wound up by, there are some who have moments but I am yet to get to the levels of disgust or annoyance I have had for the likes of Mindy, Emilia or Princess Georgia.
One thing I have noticed though, Mimi loves to use her Arms to express herself when she is talking to the Camera, like every time, anyone else noticed that ha?? Not a bad or annoying thing its just there ha! Charlie or Teresa, one of them has to go, they have had enough chances now. |

Is anyone else looking forward to elimination tonight? Normally I'd be "I really want so and so to stay, they deserve it," but tonight every single one of the competitors who has been put through to the elimination round actually deserves to be there, and not just because of a single poor performance, but because of repeated issues with their cooking in multiple rounds.
Is there anyone out of the three (Brett, Charlie, Theresa) that you are rooting for? |

Is there anyone out of the three (Cecilia, Charlie, Theresa) that you are rooting for? I've not got any time for the other two, Theresa especially (45, my arse!) |

"The duck tea sings in your mouth"
He's quackers! I'll get me coat... I reckon Theresa thinks she's 45, but she's actually 30 - I'm just like that but in reverse... |

I agree, she's looking very young (jealous)...and what's happened to Jason Atherton, he's looking less weathered than I remember him looking - the only reason I recognised him was because his voice is incredibly easy to remember.
