i'm just wondering whether that little bit right at the end when he tasted his broth, wasn't 100% with it and added the lime and fish sauce at the last minute is a little hint

I get the feeling the judges are going to love both dishes, but prefer the pro.

In the old days, if it was a draw that was a win for the contestant. They don't seem to do that any more.

I should think that Matt's already got people queuing up to give him a job if he doesn't win.

If you consider Reynold didn't win last year but has done incredibly well for himself, I'm sure Matt will be just as successful off the back of the show. Matt has been one of the few consistent contestants this series. |

I wonder whether the gantry lost it for Matt.
Without their 'helpful input' regarding whether the pro had done enough in the hour, he might not have gone back and selected the cauliflower and additional mushrooms... he was only going to plate the crayfish and sauce to start with. Hard to tell with the edit - but it certainly looked that way. Matt really is a talent |

Given how well he's doing, I won't be that surprised if Matt wins it.

But it's a sudden death competition and anyone can have a bad day. If he's in an elimination and has a bad day he's out. The show has a history of what look like the best cooks going out before the final. (Sometimes even at the final!) |

W was a bit weird, didn't have the scheduled program, and then just cut into straight before MCA!
