I've never had a MacDonalds so I can't comment. Hate anything to do with milk though.
But I don't mind cold chips. Back when I could eat it, a cold chip sandwich, lots of butter and vinegar, yum. Not with ice cream, though. Nasty stuff! ![]() Today's challenge looks different. Chocolate it seems is the challenge for today - hopefully "make something savoury!" |

I really am disappointed. Yet another dessert challenge. Why bother making it MasterChef...should be MasterBaker (oh, glad I typed that carefully).

Bet Theresa is going to suggest something with a 'pop' of flavour...

Much as I find Teresa annoying, she does seem to 'get' Heston's sort of cooking.
I definitely like Matt and Elena most though. |

Matt and Elena for me too, although Harry and Mimi could be the darkest of horses
Elise and Teresa together make me want to gouge my own eyeballs out.... |

I'm not a major fan of chocolate. I rarely eat dessert as I'd much rather have a starter, and I can't remember the last time I wanted chocolate at the end of a meal. If I ever have dessert after a meal it's something light and lemony. I sometimes eat chocolate, but mostly I want it earlier in the day, and definitely not after a meal. I would not be able to eat three courses of chocolate!

I'm with you on the third course being the one I would pick to eat. I love dark chocolate in desserts, it's not as sickly or sweet as milk or not chocolate. I think that the mousse and the cherries are what sell it for me as the combination of chocolate and cherries is one of my favourites (I LOVE that part of a black forest gateau).
But I couldn't eat 3 chocolate courses, that's too much |

From the feedback that the judges gave I'm not sure that it was all about the chocolate. For all the faults in the first course (in that it was using white chocolate), it was about the chocolate, and I think that the final course is too - so much dark chocolate with the log and the mousse. That tempering looks shiny.

Aww, I'm glad Harry seems to have done well, he seemed so excited at the idea of Heston week, more than anyone else.

I think it will be farewell to the blue team tonight with their swamp. |
