To be fair to Elise - she did poach a chicken breast in the water bath a couple of days ago.
But her sense of entitlement is what gets me - not the overwhelming number of iced desserts that she puts up. The amount of negative comment almost every attractive female contestant is guaranteed to get each year never fails to always amuse me. It always happens. Does she deserve to win? Of course not and I can't imagine she will. But for goodness sake, the current reaction to her on this thread is way out of proportion to her behaviour. I can't remember one single thing she has done or said that she deserves to be called out for. |

Well, that put a downer on things!
I'd like to apologise now for my comments about Noelene a few seasons back, what a stunner! Aah, auction time. The Grim Weeper to squeeze out a few when she doesn't get her preferred ingredients? |

![]() ETA: she never learns, does she? It's always 'I've done it before only not with these ingredients and completely differently'. Maybe this'll be the time it really comes back to bite her. |

![]() That said, Matt P's comments to Matt about his sauce, I hope he doesn't go out tonight. As for the comments about attractive, it depends on what you consider attractive, I have no issues with Elena, Mimi or Heather, but there is something about Chloe and Elise, Chloe with her tears and Elise, there is something about her character that doesn't appeal to me. I am equal opportunities, don't like Brett, didn't much like Charlie and certainly didn't like Jimmy - he was the first person I wanted so badly to get eliminated. These people know what they are in for when they enter a competition like this. |

Bags of time. She could hollow out the middle. And do soil too, for a change.

Damn shame that there's no chocolate so she can make a shell that can be dropped from a great height ![]() It's kind of too close to call at the moment, can't compute that Matt won't save his sauce |

Methinks that Chloe is in trouble when the judges are asking her to clarify what the central element of dessert 2500 is.

![]() My prediction - Elena and Mimi safe, elimination between Matt and Chloe, Chloe goes home because at least Matt knew what he'd made and cooked the elements of it well. |

I think you're right, though, with words like "absolute disaster" being bandied around Chloe's in SERIOUS trouble. Might we be seeing the end of her this evening?

The pretty hard edit at the start meant more time for teary Chloe at the end...
I did like the comment about getting all negative about the attractive women. I don't think it's negative to say that many of the women on this year's show have been very one-dimensional in their cooking and have been careful to stay within a very narrow set of skills, i.e. dessert. I have to say, sorry, it's pretty blatant about how they've been ducking doing anything else. It's great that they do desserts really well. I've no truck with that. I just want to see them do something else... Maybe it is a flaw of the format. But the length of the series and the sheer amount of cooking they have to do has shown up quite a few of them because the pattern becomes obvious very quickly. It's clear that doesn't apply to everyone. Elena has been extremely impressive even before tonight's episode, because she has shown the ability to deal with a far wider range of skills than just putting up endless mousses/curds/crumbs. That's why I'm far more disposed to her getting through than Chloe and Elise, to name a couple. |

And I'm all caught up! The right result without a doubt
The red herring regarding Matts sauce had me worried momentarily, Elena's actual red herring had me worried not a jot My top 3 of Matt, Harry and Elena remain intact |

cant argue with chloe going, i think she has been the weakest by far of the 4 that were cooking tonight and has been pretty lucky to get this far
she had the most time of the 4 tonight but still managed to screw up the 2 main elements of her dish and as per my post above just bidding on a tray of root vegetables when she was planning on making a dessert should have sent her home straight away for stupidity |

Considering that Gary (or was it George?) suggested the mousse wouldn't set, I'm surprised Chloe didn't just do an ice cream.
I'm not surprised she's gone. |
