He's there. He's the one completely out of his depth.
I do hope that the blue team doesn't go through to the cook-off for the place in finals week. Though they appear to have done better in the main course, though not in the dessert.

We're OK. Pirate and Princess will have to fight to stay.

They deserve to have to fight...and I am guessing that fight will be on Friday? Checking the EPG it looks as though it will be in Curtis Stone's LA restaurant.

The Pirate was definitely all at sea tonight

That was such a weird one tonight, the food looked too cheffy by far, I'm sure that mushroom thing tasted nice but...it was a no from me

Matt does such a lovely job of Michelin starred food, anyone else think it's a damn shame that his food dream is to run a food truck?

Yes, there's an elimination on Friday.

As in you think she'll win? No one is put into elimination tonight.

I thought more for winning the fast track

I'm forever looking for clues in the editing

Nope...red wine sorbet is not going to win - red wine is SO bitter when iced.

Saying that, it doesn't sound like a good dish and Matts just de-railed her fast track hopes!

And other Matt isn't using grapes in his dish so has completely forgotten the brief. Hopefully he'll manage to get back on track whereas I think that Mimi has gone off the rails completely.

It is, isn't it! Even if he doesn't win there'll be plenty of people wanting to offer him work - it might change his mind.

Ooh. I hadn't made that connection. Interesting.

So they butchered it out of Friday's ep but gave us a bit in Monday's so it at least made sense...
The original episode had a bit of that at the beginning as a recap, so my guess is that Watch didn't add anything to what was there.

The announcement of the trip in the previous episode came after the graphic showing what Chloe was doing next. (The episode ran for 54 minutes.)

It's a strange position to be in - I don't mind who wins!

I think Mimi needs the boost more, though, I still think she's the weaker of the four.

She needs the win, this is true, but is she really of the calibre to cope in Finals week?

And oh look...a sphere!

Oh Mimi, you've done a sphere (or a dome, whatever)

Elena's looks nice, but I'm with you cika, I don't mind who wins ( don't overdo the lavender Elena, have you never seen GBBO?? )

No. I didn't think she is. But she'd be taking a place away from, probably, the Pirate or the Princess. Which would be a Good Thing.

At least we know that we have a good chance (66.6%) of getting rid of one of them this week.

It is chicory. It's just what those funny foreigners call it.

I refuse to believe that Harry couldn't beat both of them. Blindfolded. With one arm behind his back

Not just 'like' but is. It's the American name for the stuff apparently.

Apparently it's only very rarely referred to as Witloof (witlof), which is the Dutch for white leaf, as they normally refer to it as endive.

While endive to us is that very frilly lettuce.

Food - endlessly fascinating!
