I think there's the first clue - eel bones?

I had eel once in The Netherlands. I'm not a fan

Really happy with the knife pull results. Think everyone bar Harry got what they didn't want and Harry has already made a huge boo boo. Makes it very interesting and will show us who is best out of their comfort zone.

Slightly worried for Matt but he has done desserts perfectly well before even if they're not his favourite so I hope he'll be OK. And Elena seems to be able to work with either.

That's why I think she's the strongest on paper. May not win given the format, but seems strongest over both mains or desserts.

I quite like eel. There's a Korean restuarant in Bournemouth that does barbecue eel and it's lovely.

I am guessing in Australia they had daily episodes and a double episode on Finals Day? So from five eps to eight in the week.
No, we stayed at five episodes a week (Sun - Thu), but the finale was on a Tuesday, so their finals "week" was 9 days.

Oooh ,the Lake House! I love Alla Wolf Tasker.
Yes, you mentioned her on page 5, unaware that she was on the show this year, but being UK pace I decided to bite my tongue.

I'd give it another go - you buying?

I know it's mean, but I'm annoyed that Princess Parfait is one of the few who's not struggling 😡

I have never eaten eel, but then I am a little nervous of things like that. Texture is important to me (bad mouthfeel has put me off some foods for life).

Mimi looks as though she's in trouble, and have to admit that Matt looked wide-eyed petrified when he saw that Ramble dish.

I'm wth you on mouth feel - there are some foods I can't stand the feel of in my mouth.

Mimi looks as if she's panicking, which won't help her at all. Time for a George pep talk!

She got the George Pep Talk (TM) but I don't think he was as nice as he sometimes is...he pointed his finger and told her to stop crying

Very harsh, for George. Showing off for Alla, I reckon.

Ha! Well remembered!

I've never eaten eel, and I can pretty much guarantee that I won't ever, even though I'm a big believer in trying new things and I do really like fish. I just can't stand the look of eels, they look so repulsive.

He had to be. I think that he's stopped being the "comforting" judge and giving them a little bit of a push so they realise that they need to be strong in order to make it. Wish he'd said "stop crying" to Chloe weeps a lot a few times, she might then have been less irritating.

At the moment none of the courses have been any good, so it's anyone's guess who will be going into elimination.

Didn't Alla say that she'd make Elise do the purée again and again if she didn't get the colour right? Guess the flavour was secondary!
