Brownies effin' brownies was driving me bonkers.

Ffs eff off and take your effin' brownies with you.

You really have to stop beating about the bush and say what you mean...

They've become the 'go to' dessert, along with panna cotta, over the last year or so, haven't they? 'Crispy top, squidgy inside', blah, blah, blah. Very nice, if you like chocolate, but it's CAKE. Not dessert. CAKE. Even quite high end restaurants are serving the little buggers as dessert. They go from one extreme to the other - fancy schmancy fiddly little drops of various gels, plus soils, plus shavings, plus smoked something plus micro herbs. Or a brownie with ice cream.

And I'm glad I read that back - I don't like panna cotta but I think I'd probably dislike panda cotta even more.

Lol cika

Is this the right thread for another moan?

If I hear 'push push' one more time, I will not be responsible for my actions. It is even more irritating than GR's 'awesome' and 'stunning'.
Don't get me started on that little tough nut with the atrocious table manners. I'm convinced he's a hooligan who got lucky but the biggest pain in the backside is that revolting, can't look you in the face, oversized nancy boy. (I was stunned to find out that some poor soul took pity on him and married him. )

In comparison to Little and Large the contestants are lovely imho btw.

Glad I'm not the only one whose nerves are severely got on by George! In those few shows when he was channelling MPW and repeating everything a dozen times my head nearly exploded.

I don't mind Matt, he always seems like a bit of a spare part to me even though he's always been there are carries as much weight as the others (see what I did there...! I wish I could say it started out deliberate).

We are VERY close to the final, it actually airs this Wednesday. So long as smug isn't in the final I am not bothered who (out of the three left once she goes) wins. Of course, that almost guarantees (like pouty Candice in GBBO) that she's going to either win, or get super-super close.

That was uncomfortable. We don't need to see people cry like that

And the strawberry and vanilla. We'll have a pannacotta or something similar.

Of course, she will play to her strengths...*takes a drink*

Maybe some caramelised quail crumb on the top?

Just a tad. Or several million tads. I suppose the majority must like it. Of all the nights I can't drink because of the particular antibiotics I'm on, it had to be this one. Not sure tea's going to get me through it.

I'm in love with Elise's fiancé though. With luck he had a cunning plan.
