Just a tad. Or several million tads. I suppose the majority must like it. Of all the nights I can't drink because of the particular antibiotics I'm on, it had to be this one. Not sure tea's going to get me through it.

I'm in love with Elise's fiancé though. With luck he had a cunning plan.
Shame they didn't have this round earlier on, and a definite shame he included options that could be used to make a dessert at all.

And the strawberry and vanilla. We'll have a pannacotta or something similar.
Well done Raye, pannacotta it is! 😁

But a savoury pannacotta with a sweet strawberry jelly and a puffed wheat. So inventive...not!

She's proving how creative she can't be. Unfortunately she's limited by the ingredients she has which were keyed more to a savoury than sweet dish. I feel sorry for her fiancé if she's going to go home with better abilities in just making sweets. He'll need to increase his visits to the gym.

Of course she's being inventive! She's done an oblong rather than a sphere

Seriously, I can't believe the judges never go "but we've seen this from you so many times before".

I thought they were all about development?

With a crumb, and a praline. I am hoping that Matt, George and Gary are going to tell her that they are disappointed that she didn't take the road less travelled rather than making something she's already done 1000 times during the competition.

Oh dear, the freekeh didn't work. Back to the original "soil" but with thyme! Wow! Pushing the boat out. 🙄
Even odds she does a dessert in the next round, can someone bin the moulds in the interim?

And unplug the blast chiller and freezer.

I really hope they do! Progression should be the name of the game

Taking bets now on family members coming through the double doors?

No takers here!

Although on second thoughts I would have expected them to come in to taste.

Looks like I was wrong, saving it for the final then...

If they were going to come I would have thought it would be after the boxes were brought in.

Like that they asked about her use of gelatine, but disappointed they didn't highlight the fact that she has made no progress.

Poor Harry

ETA: Think Elena will be skipping ahead.

I couldn't be happier for Elena, she seems genuinely nice and always cooks what I'd want to eat - sailing through tonight, surely

When they showed Elise before they announced Elena's name, Elise looked so sure she was going to be picked...

Agreed. Unlike Elise, she does seem to be making a lot of pogress. (or has done, rather)

Right person straight through! Laughed at Matt and George scoffing the lot whilst Gary talked.

Elise can have another crack at dessert, at least.
