EE and Corrie need a new family - how about one from another TV show?
I've been watching Shameless on Sky box sets and some of the Shameless characters would fit in well in EE. Infact the Maguires would also fit into Corrie well, as would Norma.
This is a great way of getting an established family, but also new with no connections to the street or square. Which family would you introduce? Could Corrie handle an eerie family like the Munsters? |

The Trotters would fit well in the square. Del and Rodders would obv set up their stall on the market. Boycie could take over the Carlot and Trigger could be the new road sweeper for the market.

Oh and Alfie's cousin Daphne and her husband Niles just have to move to the square. Niles would make a fortune being the resident psychiatrist

Kal and Susan Kennedy will also be good additions. Susan would become the resident agony aunt while Karl has an affair with Belinda which consists of a quick snog which will have repercussions for the next twenty years.

Slater would try to take the Trotters down but fail. Raquel and DS Marsden would be long lost siblings. Uncle Albert will still tell tales about the war.Quote:

The Carringtons
Life hasn't been good for The Carringtons. Following Blake's death from a long illness, it wasn't long until a dodgy business deal led to Denver Carrington shutting down and the big mansion repossessed. Having some of her fortune left from her late second husband, Alexis decided to pack up with sons Adam and Steven and move to London. Along with Adam is his wife Kirby and their twin daughters (Alexis Jr and Claudia Jr), while Steven comes to england alone following a bitter divorce from his husband Bart. It is implied that him and his son Blake Jr are estranged. With what they have between them, they decide to move to London in a little unknown part called Albert Square. Noticing a vacant lot called R&R, Alexis soon sees pound signs and decides to revamp the place into a sexy classy B&b which she names La Mirage. It isn't long before Alexis clashes with the locals, especially the women, with her brash attitude and her outrageous fashion choices. However she soon sparks up a close relationship with Sharon Mitchell who she later hires as the La Mirage's manager. Alexis soon stabs Sharon in the back when she engages in an affair with Phil. Alexis and Phil team up to get rid of Sharon by doing an insurance fraud job on Phil's home. They manage to pin the evidence on Sharon, leading to a prison sentence for Sharon. Alexis soon becomes the matriarch of the Mitchells and manipulates her way for The Carters to lose The Vic and have her and Phil run it. Her plan succeeds and she becomes the new Vic landlady. Adam and Kirby's marriage is soon hit with troubles when Kirby falls for the charms of Max Branning. Adam and Max becomes deadly enemies and Adam soon enlists Phil Mitchell to finally take him down. Meanwhile their daughters AJ and CJ soon prove to be rebels around the square. AJ has a brief fling with Kyle and lies about being pregnant, while CJ suffers PTSD due to a car crash and becomes a kleptomaniac. CJ is eventually jailed for her crimes and returns a year later where she claims she has found a god, leading to a close relationship with Dot. Steven drowns his sorrows in booze following his divorce and estrangement from his son. It isn't long before he becomes the resident boozer and is instantly looked down upon. However his drinking goes too far when he hits and kills Whitney Dean in a drunken car accident. But the accident leaves him with amnesia, leaving his family to fill in the pieces. Including a scheming Sammy Jo, who arrives in England and takes advantage of his amnesia by claiming they are a couple and have been for many years. |
