Bear has more wit than anyone else in that house - he is very quick thinking and has been funnier and more on the money with his comments than the rest.

You don't think he has charm? The other HMs would disagree! No matter what he has done to them, no matter how he has exposed them, no matter how he has hounded them, they have all forgiven him time and time again, with the exception of Sam who could bear a grudge for England. And it's not just a case of playing nice for the sake of a harmonious house and keeping out of his way - they spend time with him and get back on board with him. Renee wanted to send him to Coventry but that failed - not even her compatriots were in agreement. James spoke warmly about him in his exit interview.

And miserable? Hardly! He has more fun and mischief than anyone else in there. And not just when he's up to his tricks - he laughed his way through the snowball fight, especially when someone got a full on-target shot of him!

He is actually tolerant and relaxed rather than angry - he's had his moments in there, most of them have, but he has had as many moments where he shows his warmer side and happily gets on with his HMs.
Bingo. Own goal

What is nasty about my post and what part of it is not true. I await your response with interest.
It was meant to be a tongue in cheek joke because that's what Bear says when he has conflict with someone in the house sometimes , sorry if it annoyed you though.

Sadly yes! He, like Helen Wood, will be rewarded for acting like a spoilt, petulant, spiteful and badly behaved toddler. BB has allowed him so much rope without taking proper action as they did with HW. Unfortunately, it will be yet more proof of how selfish, self centered and nasty this country has become and think it's okay to do what you want to others. 😕😕😕

What do you mean own goal?

Not everyone is entrenched in one camp or another - in this case for or against Bear - religiously slating him or praising him depending on which 'side' you're on.

Of course I know he is a PITA for the other HMs. Of course I can see his faults. And I can see his entertainment value and yes, I can see his good points too.

It doesn't have to be a battle field on here, where you 'slip up' if you happen to mention something good about someone you dislike, or vice versa.

It's called balance.

Well said. However, Tucks, I'm hoping sanity will prevail and we see a winner (anyone other than the repulsive Stephen B)

Helen's win was anomalous, I don't think it's indictive of anything and certainly not representative of any particular voting trend.

If a bore wins it then future contestants won't feel the need to do anything. This works both ways.

Of course it is.

It's only "Unbalanced "when a fm has admitted that their favourite has indulged in unsavoury behaviour, i.e. hounding, other housemates and got called out on it.

Then it gets called unbalanced.

You need to have a word with yourself - you are making absolutely no sense.

Woah now this is what amazes me about differences of opinion. Saying Bear is some sort of quick witted charming joker whose relaxed and tolerant attitude a has the HMs baffled at why anyone could disagree with him

OK then!!!!

Aaron and Helen were both vile, spiteful characters and they somehow managed to win their respective series despite plenty of people despising them.

Even Jason was arguably a love/hate character.

Well those are some of the things I think of him! But I certainly don't agree that he is charmless, miserable and without wit - those were the points I refuted.

PS - I didn't say the last bit

It depends if you find childish antagonistic play ground behaviour witty/charming. As far as the last bit! By saying the HMs don't seem to hold any grudges/disagree with Reene/James speaking warmly about him yet avoiding to mention what else they said in relation to ignoring and not biting for an easy life. James himself said the boy had issues!

Somebody can be childish at times, antagonistic at times, witty at times and charming at times! Yes - the same person!

And yes - James said some negative stuff about him but also some positive stuff. It seems he agrees with me that characters can be complex rather than one dimensional!

Who knew!

Have you seen footage I haven't as I have seen nothing other than this behaviour As for James agreeing with you about complex characters I honestly never heard him refer to Bear as complex!

I think it highly likely that Bear will win - unfortunately. I really hope he doesn't because I don't think anti social behaviour should be rewarded.
