Finally!
Finally we get a glimpse of what this show could have been without Stephen!!
Some really good stuff in tonight's show, that moment between Sam and Renee was so much better than anything between R & B. When Renee's arguing with Stephen she's just going through the motions of being loud and angry, with Sam she was genuinely shocked! We had some good stuff from a lot of the other housemates and I had a lol when Frankie said 'you don't tell the unstable person they're unstable!!!' Even Marnie got a laugh out of me with the 'eye contact' thing and the beating she gave herself! The worst part is we could have had all this stuff from week 1 onwards. Like PS said Bear's actions affected all the housemates and most of them brought the shutters down. I was even surprised by the producers when they protected Marnie's modesty, it would have been easy to exploit the banana moment for a cheap bit of titillation. More laughs and enjoyment from one episode than the rest of the series combined. Oh what could have been..... |

I had to tape it, looking forward to watching it if it's got less of the knob in it.

Really enjoyed that episode.
Think that's two now. Maybe three. Yep, that's two or three episodes I've enjoyed this series.

People constantly complaining about reality stars on here knew that nine out of sixteen of the housemates were going to be reality stars, so why did you watch in the first place?

Though there was nothing to see the BB cameras were constantly going back to Bear. Let the other hms get a lookin - you might be surprised at what they have to say!!

Nice to see more of the others, I'm not a so-called fan of any of the HMs, but it was better seeing them all and not just the relentless exposure of Bear.

And i don't have a problem with Bear. My problem is with the unbalanced editing this series. Too much Bear, too little of the rest. I give an episode a go. If I'm enjoying it I watch. If Im not I turn over. No biggie. But I'm a bb fan so I'll always give it a go. You get some good episodes and some bad. Don't know why you assumed it was simply because of reality stars. They're to be expected in cbb.

I just realized something about Aubrey.. She deserved to win, not because she is the most loving funny etc.. And she was not even my favorite.. She played the game so so well, even I was underestimate her as a viewer.. I Will vote for her for playing the game well...

Funny moments in LF ( Katie/ Frankie/ Aubrey ) don't ever make it to HLS unless, of course, Bear is involved ( talking to the dog ) And continuously on LF - have now stopped watching - interesting and funny clips of majority HMs in bedroom and the camera time is primarily focussed on him staring into space , muttering or , as one astute poster here observed, looking like a demented Andrew Ridgeley brother . |

But Bear is still there! They could've be themselves from the very start.

Beat kind of has an advantage in being eternally nominated as no one can give their reasons for nominating and viewers can't really gauge how many HMs want him to go each eviction night.

Perhaps Bear might think about joining the cast of Eastenders.
He could play Gangster Johnny's nephew - only for one episode though. In the boot, in the crusher!! Dum , dum , dum dum dum ! |

Have the others been acting like that all along? No they haven't. Just goes to show that if Bear hadn't been in the house, even 2 HL shows a week would have been too much to fill.

Marine acting like a street walker is nothing new . That's all she is . She has done it all the way through
The Frankie Katie drama is thanks to bear and heavy . They are still bores . |

This is exactly it. I think it could have been a great show, with the different characters having to come out and no doubt clash with each other, without Bear making it about him. Such a shame.

Nevertheless...... I could barely ever get through one episode of Geordie Shore but enjoyed Marnie in CBB ( good or bad) . I don't watch TOWIE but found Lewis to be funny (overall) in his over-inflated ego and unintentionally comedic, repetitive motivational talks ... and I didn't mind watching their Showmance either. So no .. the fact that they are "reality" stars doesn't exclude them - in fact it makes them more interesting to me as I cannot bear the actual shows they are in but still appreciate for what they bring to CBB - although celebrity is used quite loosely ... Heavy D - if a reality "star" was at times quite watchable in his childlike delusions - apart from the idiotic booming . Bear, on the other, I find quite unbearable - not because he is a reality "star" but because he is an inarticulate, imbecilic but manipulative and angry character who has suppressed the others and spoiled the show .....to further his own ends. |

We will never know if this is true. Are you saying the conversation around the table last night was a new thing, these conversations have been going on throughout the series, we just haven't been shown them!
What riveting conversation around the dining table was that? Gone over the HL show and the only "conversation" where more than 1 HM was sitting at the table, was Frankie commenting that 2 Americans had made the final. Blink and you'd miss it moment. Most of the show was about the nominations and the fallout from that.

There is no way on God's earth that BB would ever have failed to show Marnie and the banana in ANY show.
And they ALWAYS show nomination reveal fallout. But I do not believe that any of this stuff would have ended up on the cutting room floor in any episode - no matter what Bear was doing. |
