Do HM's still get 'the talk' before they enter the house? [compound question]

I recall seeing a program years ago when BB was on C4 that went behind the scenes into audition process for BB.
The 10-12 HMs who are chosen got what they called 'the talk'.

The talk explained to HMs that every aspect of their lives would be up for grabs, by the papers, on the internet, magazines, TV etc and that they took a risk that all their 'secrets' would be exposed and that (pretty much) privacy was a thing of the past. They would be seen and treated as public property. Also anything they do in the house will be scrutinised by millions of people and they will be hated by as many people as they will loved [if not more].

So, I assume they still get that talk?

Secondary question.... When stuff DOES come out about their past, and when they do stuff in the house which gets them villified do they deserve it? Have they asked for it?

I'm on the fence..... but are things like Bear's finger up the arse photos are, on this basis, fair game.
Your thoughts?

Yes indeedy - they are doing it for the money and fully prepared to risk exposure.

Then I think Bear deserves all the flak he is getting on here, especially for his 'private' [and privates] photo.

I think they are fair game on just about anything apart from family. They are courting fame and should pay the price.

They must have missed out the 'don't say anything that could harm your career' lecture, either that or Biggins wasn't listening.

I think that the people that appear on the show these days are that desperate that even if they give the talk (I imagine C5 give a half-hearted version if any at all) I can't imagine it having any impact. I saw some clips from BB10 yesterday and despite me disliking it at the time it was MILES better than the last series we've had on Channel 5.

I do not for one second think they do proper psychological tests either. C5 have had some questionable HMs. It's telling that Kerry Katona appeared on their first CBB whereas C4 turned her down multiple times for theirs for failing the psych tests.

I didn't know this. I wonder who else?

Uploading intimate / obscene / porn type photos of someone without their permission is now an offence called Revenge Porn, isn't it?

While;

A person voluntarily uploading their own photos, (perhaps to a dating site), presumably aren't falling foul of any law ... or are they?

Do we know for sure that celebs get the talk as well?

Lauren Harries is almost a certainty here. There were constant bits of her not passing the C4-era psych evaluations, but this wasn't an issue for C5.
