It's obvious how this will play out. She'll discover she's pregnant, assume it's Kush's, then when she goes for her scan she'll be told she's actually four months pregnant and she'll work out the baby can't possibly be Kush's. Duff Duff. Then I suspect Kush will want to act as the father anyway to redeem himself over what happened with Stacey. Hopefully Denise won't lie to him about it because it will essentially be a rehash of the Martin/Stacey storyline.

I'm probably wrong, but I think that the baby will be actually be Kush's. If Denise is pregnant with Phil's baby, she wouldn't keep it. Also, after what happened to Zaair, I don't think that Denise would feel comfortable lying about Kush being the father or pretending to everyone that Kush is the father.

If she is pregnant and wants rid then she's a hypocrite after what happened to Libby. It might not even be a pregnancy though...maybe a scare but turn out to be something else....what could it be if it's not a pregnancy?

Yeah, she would be. Although, I can understand why she wouldn't want Phil's baby. She hates him and he isn't exactly a good dad.

Agree. I don't know why a 46 year-old woman should be written as a desperate-for-sex-and-love lonely person. And in any event, why on earth don't any of the women in this take responsibility for their own fertility? Nearly everybody in EE has slept with nearly everybody else and there must be something approaching a 50% hit rate when it comes to sprogging.

If Denise is pregnant - and let's hope she's not - I hope the writers have the good sense to see her go for a termination as soon as possible, ideally before anyone - especially the father (if she knows who that is!) - gets to hear about it.

I think that she slept with Phil to show how low she had gotten. If she's pregnant with Phil's baby, she would get rid of it asap. Whereas if its Kush's, there are more stories to tell. She would feel bad to get rid of the baby. Davood said there are up and downs coming up for Denise and Kush, so maybe this has something to do with that.

I really hope she isn't pregnant. I know baby plots are a classic soap storyline but i just feel this isn't what is best for Denise. But i am 99 per cent sure this is what will happen.

I want it to be Denise's story...Denise and Kush's. If the baby is Phil's I want him left in ignorance for many years. I'm sick of characters being bit players in the Phil and Sharon show. I don't want big explosive reveals I want happiness for Denise. Heaven knows she's had precious little in her life.

I completely agree with you. I'm leaning towards thinking its Kush's baby. It makes more sense. There are more stories to tell if it Kush's.

That could be the very reason he would consider it. He has seen what a great father Martin is to Arthur. He knows that biology is not everything. The dad is the person who is there for you and brings you up.

If the baby is Phil's this will make it the first mixed raced Mitchell!

Kush has lost a baby and isn't a father to Arthur, would they really do a story where he isn't the biological dad? Also, this time, last year, him and Shabnam has just lost their baby. I don't think it would nice having a baby storyline around this time when Kush isn't the dad.
