She's really petite too and when she's pregnant in real life, her bumps are really tiny. And I'm sure she did have symptoms months ago...not long after she slept with Phil, but we just put it down to her going through the change. She thought she was going through it months ago, that's probably when her irregular bleeding started and other symptoms, but really she was pregnant. It could be Kushs though, just have to wait and see!

It could be a red herring, but I'll still be very surprised if the baby doesn't turn out to be Phil's.

Was it shown on screen that Denise actually thought that she had the menopause? I thought that the audience just assumed because she had hot flushes.

If she has an abortion, she might understand what Libby went through and they could make up.

Owen was murdered like seven years ago. I don't think it is his. If you mean lucas, their relationship was never sexual when she visited him in prison. You need conjugal visitation rights to do that sort of thing.

You could be onto something about this being Phil's saviour. Gives him something to live for.
However I suspect Denise will not tell Phil, at least not yet. She will make believe its Kush's baby. Remains to be seen if he is in on it and plays along or if she will mislead him also. If she does mislead Kush then he would have to be very stupid to not realize he isn't the father when she gives birth 4 months early. The offset of this would be Kush hurt and wounded then deciding he wants to be Arthur's father messing up Martin and Stacey's lives.
Anyway look at the dates. All this is going to hit the fan at Christmas. So Diane Parish must have been given the highest honour of carrying this years festive season!

I'd like to think you're right. There's only so much misery they can throw at one character before it gets ridiculous.
Denise and Kush have sizzling chemistry and I would love to see Kush support Denise with her pregnancy. The baby is likely Phil's but I hope Kush and Denise pretend Kush is the father and I don't want the Mitchells involved in this storyline - the Mitchells never take a break and it's time other characters get a look in. It sounds harsh but Phil doesn't deserve to be part of the baby's life. Denise is a strong/feisty character and she will resort to extreme measures to keep Phil apart from her child and she's not Lisa. Kush already has a son but it doesn't mean he can't be a father figure to Denise's chlld and I think Kush will accept Denise's child as his own. But this is EastEnders we are talking about and there'll be lots of drama.

I agree. Both Kush and Denise have had a horrible time within the last few months so hopefully they will let them be happy for a while.
Guys, feel free to remind me of how strongly I argued that Kush was the father when it's revealed that Phil's is.
