Well, I'll just redo mine from scratch.

1) Will Young (I feel like this is inevitable, but I hope not because I'm not a huge Will Young fan)
2) Claudia Fragapane (She'll be very good, but not enough to win)
=2) Danny Mac (With him being this series' hunk and also having dance training already I feel like he is a dead cert for the final)
4) Louise Redknapp (She'll be the best dancer but not popular because she's a ringer)
5) Laura Whitmore (She seems one to be good, but I docked her down a bit because I don't think she's had any previous training. Can be switched with Greg)
6) Greg Rutherford (He'll prove popular with the public, but I'm just not sure if he'll be able to dance. Can be switched with Laura)
7) Ore Oduba (He'll be good, but I kinda had to lump him here because there isn't anywhere else to fit him )
8) Anastacia (I have a bad feeling that she'll get Anton which will ruin her chances )
9) Naga Munchetty (She'll be the most middle of the roader ever seen!)
10) Tameka Empson (She'll prove popular at first, but I fear she may get annoying)
11) Daisy Lowe (Rachel Riley 2.0)
12) Judge Rinder (Comedy act that sparks some potential, but then flops hard one dance which eliminates him. A bit like Kirsty's last two weeks)
13) Lesley Joseph (Just lumped her here. I don't think she'll be too good but she'll last a few weeks)
14) Ed Balls (He'll have decent ballroom which will help him survive the first week, but latin will be his downfall)
15) Melvin Odoom (Not very well known and doesn't seem like one to be good)

I haven't a scoobie, but I'll give it a go:

1. Claudia Fragapane (really popular throughout, top three in ability, no D/Os)
2. Will Young (will end up being the best dancer, no D/Os but not the winner)
=. Louise Redknapp (I think she'll be more popular than people think, but not enough to win or to avoid a D/O before the final)
4. Danny Mac (probably good enough but not really popular and will be in one or two D/O before the final)
5. Greg Rutherford (will be really popular but should finish nearer 7th/8th. After a QF shock the public will see sense)
6. Laura Whitmore (will be really good, top the leaderboard a few weeks, out in a shock quarter final D/O with Danny/Lou like Pixie and Helen)
7. Ore Oduba (like Steve Backshall)
8. Anastacia (I actually don't think she'll be that popular, or that great a dancer. Will be a bit like Jamelia ability-wise and end up in at least one D/O before she goes)
9. Tameka Empson (her Latin will be good and she'll be popular, but by this point the rest are too good for her)
10. Judge Rinder (think he'll be really bad but popular, like Scott Mills)
11. Naga Munchetty (any other year she'd be nearer 7th - 9th, MOTR)
12. Daisy Lowe (can't see her being too popular, or good. I'd guess at her being in the D/O with a shock candidate)
13. Lesley Joseph (will get caught out by a Salsa/Cha Cha)

It could be based on anything - perceived popularity (how well known they are), watching Youtube videos of them if they are a performer or have done Let's dance for Comic Relief, reading celebrities/pros joking about rehearsals on Twitter - ie Ed has admitted somethings he finds harder than others, Greg seems to be just getting the basics at the moment.

Why don't you just wait for the series to start and see them get a few dances behind them first....

Very hard to predict, especially when a few strike me as no-hopers, but we've been proved very wrong on that front many times before! personally, I think Ore is first out - unless he's been hiding some dance skills. Melvin (according to wiki) has taught dance classes in a past life - that says to me he's had some form of dance training in his life, and that means he can probably move, or at least learn to move!

I'm putting Ed a little further up, as I think he'll get through his first week with a ballroom, and be one of those disastrously funny latin dancers, but will survive because someone like Daisy is stiff as a board and screws up far more than him. Plus, I don't think Daisy will be all that popular - I might be wrong! Ed, Tameka, Naga and Judge Rinder are pretty interchangeable, in terms of when I think they'll leave. I don't think any will have the fanbase to carry them through to the latter part of the competition.

Everyone from that point on will have a fanbase, and I've listed them in the order I think their talent will take them. I suspect that Danny and Louise will be our designated 'ringers' for this year - Danny's musical theatre professional experiences, and Louise's girlband and both of their stage school backgrounds are going to limit them to runner-up spots. I see Claudia as a Louis Smith mark 2, except she won't quite manage to win. Will is going to win, I'm sure - unless he manages to be a dance disaster, he's got the skills needed to learn these routines, the acting talent to deliver convincingly, and he's definitely got the fanbase to carry him through to a win!

If that's the case, I'll put her higher up in my rankings:

1) Claudia Fragapane (think she'll struggle to emote, but will be a powerhouse and endearing in interviews)

2) Will Young (think will be a solid performer, and has star power behind him)

=) Louise Redknapp (Another solid performer, but may not engage with the public as much)

4) Danny Mac ( could be a great technical dancer, but lack of recognition by the voting public may do him a disservice.)

5) Anastacia (don't think she'll be amazing technically, but will have great rhythm and fun factor)

6) Laura Whitmore (if she does indeed have tap experience, that'd secure her a place in the latter round - but I don't think the public will warm to her)

7) Tameka Empson (will be a competent dancer/performer, but she may be annoying)

8) Judge Rinder (may surprise people as a dancer, but nothing special - his banter with the judges will keep him in this far, mainly)

9) DJ Melvin (apparently has some dance experience, so may be alright!)

10) Greg Rutherford (will be likeable, but not enough to offset his clumsy dancing!)

11) Naga Munchetty (Will be on a similar level to Susanna, but far too many potentially great dancers for her to progress far - she may also be too competitive to win over the public)

12) Ore Oduba (Will have some OK moves, but will get lost among better dancers and bigger personalities)

13) Lesley Joseph (won't be much of a mover at all, and don't know if she'll come over that well - but then I don't really know her)

14) Daisy Lowe (will be an ungainly dancer, and may have an entitled attitude that will turns viewers off completely)

15) Ed Balls (will have no rhythm, will be stiff as a board, and despite being friendly, will be totally forgettable.)

Please bear in mind these circumstances are total speculation on my part, and I'm totally willing to be proven wrong!
